A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- Hayden's car was sailing down the long road toward Pinewood. The red digit clock on the dashboard read 6:34am. Hayden was eager to get away from her parents and her life. She had gone for a ride yesterday and worked on dressage, afterwards she had taken Rolex to the field and he had rolled. So today Hayden decided to do a spa day for her horse. As she pulled into the empty parking lot of the stable Hayden pushed her car in park and hopped out. She headed for the side door with her key ready in her left hand. Boarders from Pinewood could come at anytime from 5:00am-10:00pm but the stable was only open from 8:00am-8:00pm so all boarders were given a key to the side door.
Once inside the barn Hayden looked around, a few horses were still sleeping but most were moving around their waiting for morning breakfast. Hayden smiled and headed for Rolex's stall. It was half-way down the aisle and she knew Rolex would be eager for food. When she reached the wooden door she spotted her black horse laying on the dusty floor. "Rolex" Hayden said with a smile. Slowly her smile fell and her eyes darted to Rolex's chest to check for breathing.
Hayden let out a sigh of relief when she saw his barrel rise and fall. She slipped in and took her place at Rolex's head. He blinked slowly this nudged his head into her and closed his eyes. Haydne slowly let a tear fall and gently placed her horse's head back on the ground. She flew out of the stall and whipped out her cell phone. She dialed the stable's emergency vet, Dr.Chcassy. She quickly explained the situation as she watched Rolex from over his stall door. "Sounds like he as a case of colic. I'll be over as soon as I can, I'm a few hours away and with morning traffic it might be awhile. Try to get him to drink water and see if you can get him to walk every thirty minutes." She said. Hayden heard shuffling in the background and said good-bye.
She walked back into the stall and grabbed Rolex's water bucket from his hook on the side of the door. She brought it down to his head but Rolex didn't move. Tears fell faster as she watched her horse grow more and more weak. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair in messy bun;make-up black eyeliner and mascara Word Count- 420 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- Ehh Other- This stinks........ Chase had come to visit his horse before everyone else came to the barn but he forgot his key at his home so he had been waiting outside for someone else to show up to unlock the door. Finally someone pulled into the Pinewood parking lot. Chase got up off the ground and waited behind a tree so this person didn't notice him standing there. As this person got out of the car he scowled. It was Hayden coming here early. He couldn’t help but be attracted to her but there was something about her that bugged him, he couldn't put his finger on it but there was something there that just bugged the shit out of him.
He watched as she got out of her car and went to the side door of the barn, unlocked the door and continued on in headed in the direction of her horse's stall. Chase followed her in to the barn and was greeted with sleeping horses. He smirked. He continued on straight ahead towards the feed room to grab Red's morning feed. He went and let himself into Red's stall. He poured the feed into the grain bucket and patted Red on his cheek. He let himself out of the stall and returned the bucket to the feed room. Chase had returned the bucket and decided to leave Red alone to ea in peace. He glanced down the aisle and noticed that Hayden wasn't at her horses stall ad that its head wasn't over the door like all the other horses were. They all had seen Chase deliver Red's feed and they wanted theirs. Confused, Chase walked over to her horse's stall and peered over the top. Chase gasped. This horse was lying down and Chase confirmed he was colicky. Chase rushed to his locker and grabbed what he needed. He rushed back to the stall with his lead rope. His horse had gone through a few bouts of colic and Chase as a pro at handling them now.
Chase clipped the lead rope to the horses halter and urged him to stand up. If it wouldn't stand up it could possibly twist its intestines which wouldn't be good. After a few more tugs he got it to stand. Chase hoped that Hayden was calling the vet and that was why she wasn’t here. He didn't let the horse fall back down when it stumbled a few steps and then it regained its balance and stood still. Chase sighed in relief when Hayden appeared at the door. He handed the lead rope over and got out of the stall. He stood at the door as she pulled the water bucket over to it. Chase watched as tears formed in her eyes.
That was all it took for Chase to reenter the stall and stand beside Hayden. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and squeezed. "It's going to be alright. Your horse will recover, you just need to wait it out and keep walking it." He reassured her. He thought that his touch would revolt her and he waited to see how she would respond to Chase.

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- *Sorry I gotta change up what happened in your post just a little cuz when Hayden came back Rolex was still lying down, hope its okay with you. :-) * Hayden decided to go get Rolex's feed, in case he decided to try food. She knew it was unlikely but she couldn't watch Rolex for to much longer. She stood up and headed for the feed room. Half-way down the aisle she stopped, listening for a sound. Once she confirmed it wasn't there Hayden continued to the feed room. She scooped half a cup of energy feed, a quarter of vitamins, and a pinch of health helper into Rolex's normal bucket of feed and mixed it around with her clammy hands. When Hayden reached Rolex's stall again she had an odd mix of happiness, confusion, and anger. Chase was holding a standing Rolex in the stall. Hayden tried to read Chase's face to see if he was being cocky or helpful. But Hayden saw nothing, so she shrugged it off and avoided the argument. Instead she pushed her side bangs away from her face and asked, "How did you get him to stand up?"
Hayden stepped into the stall and traded places with Chase. Chase lingered by the stall door without a word. Feeling awkward Hayden grabbed Rolex's water bucket and moved it toward his mouth. Rolex looked at the pool of water, rippling in the bucket but made no move to drink it. Hayden felt tears burning her eyes again and tried to wipe them away quickly. Chase noticed anyway and silently slipped back into the stall and wrapped an arm around Hayden. Hayden's eyebrows drew together in confusion as the made the gesture. She didn't move away, and didn't want to. After a moment of standing there without a word Hayden closely placed her head in the crook of Chase's shoulder and neck. She sighed and asked quietly, "Would it be better to have him here or out in the felid where he can walk better?"
Hayden felt safe in Chase's arms and sure of herself. It was odd, and Hayden wondered if it was a pity gesture. "As Big Shot had colic before?" Hayden asked to fill the silence. She swayed her body a bit but kept her head still. Rolex's head was bent over to far to see but Hayden wasn't sure she wanted to leave this moment. She sighed again and wiped another tear away. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair in messy bun;make-up black eyeliner and mascara Word Count- 395 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- Itching to post then it came out like this.... Chase ignored her question about how he got him to stand and he just shrugged. He wasn't up for much talking right now, he knew he would just start a fight with whatever he said to her. She tried to get Rolex to drink again but with no success. That was when Chase re-entered the stall and comforted her. Surprisingly she didn't flinch away if anything she let it overcome her and after a few moments she rested her head in the corner of Chase's neck and shoulder. She asked him if it would be better to take him out to the fields and Chase thought about that for a moment before replying. "From my experience I found it usually depends on the horse. With my horse he was fine in his stall and I would walk him up and down the aisle. But it depends on your horse. Does he get restless if you keep him in a stall? Does he live outside most of the time? If so, it would probs be better to be in a more familiar surrounding for him." Chase said. He let her rest her head on his shoulder for however long she would like it and to be honest he was enjoying it more than she knew.
To fill the silence that lay between them Hayden asked if Big Shot had ever had colic. Chase went quiet for a little bit. Finally he said barely above a whisper, " Big Shot died 2 days ago. I'm now riding my other horse, Red Rock's Last Chance. He was my first horse and we share a bond that no one else will every share with me. For me it was like he was my last chance, that's where he gets the name.Big Shot was my other horse that my foster dad let me borrow to bring here. I thought this would be too much for Red but now he has to live here." He sniffed. "Anyways back to your question. Yeah, he did. He always had really bad ones as well. It pained me to see him like that but I got used to it after a while. But it never got any less scary waiting for the vet to arrive not knowing if he would make it through the night. But your horse will be fine, Toby's colic attacks were like this times 10." He said gesturing to Rolex still standing. "Sometimes, I couldn't even get him standing. He just kept rolling around on the stall floor and all I could do was watch." Chase thought of the time Hayden had seen Chase ride. It would of been with Toby not with Red. Chase ducked his head down not wanting her to see him so vulnerable. He was on the verge of crying and that would be embarrassing for him to lose his composure in front of this girl he sorta, kinda liked.

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- Chase answered Hayden's question with a shrug, seeming unwilling to talk. Chase's eyebrows knit together for a moment when Hayden asked where she should take Rolex. Hayden thought about it in the back of her mind but she mostly focused on Chase, and the odd sensation of being in his arms. The second she asked about Big Shot she felt Chase tense up a bit. After a moment he answered, "Big Shot died 2 days ago." Hayden felt her mouth pop open and she turned quickly to look at Chase's face. It wasn't blank, it was hurt. Hayden felt her own face mirror his. "I'm now riding my other horse, Red Rock's Last Chance. He was my first horse and we share a bond that no one else will every share with me. For me it was like he was my last chance, that's where he gets the name. Big Shot was my other horse that my foster dad let me borrow to bring here. I thought this would be too much for Red but now he has to live here."
Hayden let out a shattered sigh that caught a few times. Chase didn't look at her eyes and continued talking, "Anyways back to your question. Yeah, he did. He always had really bad ones as well. It pained me to see him like that but I got used to it after a while. But it never got any less scary waiting for the vet to arrive not knowing if he would make it through the night. But your horse will be fine, Toby's colic attacks were like this times 10." He looked over at Rolex standing up and commented, "Sometimes, I couldn't even get him standing. He just kept rolling around on the stall floor and all I could do was watch." Hayden watched as Chase's face became over come with pain. She had never felt closer to anyone but her own horse. He ducked his head down trying to hide his feelings, but Hayden still heard his sniffs. She slowly cupped his chin with her right hand and gently pulled his face level with hers. "You'll see him again some day. So it's not a good-bye, but a see you later" She whispered then slowly and gently she kissed Chase. Her lips parted slightly and she closed her eyes. A tear fell down her face and slid onto his.
After a moment she pulled back and wiped her tear from his face. She slowly turned back toward Rolex, keeping Chase's arms locked around her. Hayden thought about what would be best for Rolex then said, "I think we should take him outside. He's usually calmer when outside and I want him to have a lot of room to walk and lie down." She slowly pulled herself out of Chase's grip and pushed open the stall door. She pressed her face into Rolex's neck before asking him to walk. He did, just to please her but Hayden saw the pain on Rolex's face. She focused on the side door, to stalls down and asked Chase to go open it. As the passed through the side door Hayden said, "Thank you" Hayden decided to take Rolex to one of the smaller pastures, only a couple of acres. She thought they didn't need to much space. She lead him into a lush pasture and closed the gate with a click. She pushed down the clip on his lead rope and released him. Rolex walked a few steps then placed his head down and cocked his left hind leg, as if he decided to sleep but he kept his eyes open. Hayden sighed and turned to see if Chase had followed them. Before she saw whether he was there or not she asked, "Do you wanna bring Red out here? I'd love to meet him." ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair in messy bun;make-up black eyeliner and mascara Word Count- 737 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- Not good but I just love posting with you. Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. Hayden slowly cupped Chase's chin with her right hand and gently pulled his face so it was level with hers. "You'll see him again some day. So it's not a good-bye, but a see you later" She whispered then slowly and gently she pressed her lips to his. Chase let his lips part when hers did and he watched as she closed her eyes. Not five seconds later, all that Chase could see was the black of his eyelids. Chase didn’t even noticed when she shed a tear and it soaked onto Chase' cheek. Hayden was the first to pull away and Chase slowly opened his eyes with a smile on his face. She raised her hand and brushed away the tear that lay on his cheek. He put his hand over hers which was still on his cheek and murmured a thank you. She slowly turned back toward Rolex, keeping Chase's arms locked around her. Chase smiled when she didn't let go of him. He stood close to her while she thought. It was probably about where she wanted to keep Rolex.
"I think we should take him outside. He's usually calmer when outside and I want him to have a lot of room to walk and lie down." Chase nodded. That sounded like a plan. She detangled herself from Chase and pushed open the stall door. Chase watched as she pressed her face into Rolex's neck before asking him to walk. Finally she got him to move but it looked as if it pained him to move even the smallest of steps. Chase stood on the other side of Rolex and encouraged him forward. Hayden stayed focused on the side door, while Chase went and opened the door. As Chase watched them pass through the side door, he heard Hayden say, "Thank you" Chase closed the door then resumed his position on the other side of Rolex. Hayden led Rolex to one of the smaller pastures, only a couple of acres. Chase watched from the gate as she led him into the pasture and closed the gate with a click. She unclipped the lead rope and Rolex walked a few steps then placed his head down and cocked his left hind leg. Hayden sighed and turned to Chase had followed them. "Do you wanna bring Red out here? I'd love to meet him."
Chase was not expecting that. Right now Red was the last thing on his mind. He just wanted to see that Rolex and Hayden would be alright. Right now he would probably do anything for her, because he hated to see her like this. "Sure. He would love to meet you. I'll be right back and don't let Rolex roll." He warned. He jogged back to the barn and went through the side door to fetch Red's lead rope and then to his stall. Chase unlatched the lock and went into Red's stall. "Hey, Red. Someone wants to meet you." He said to his horse. Chase smiled, Red was still eating. “C’mon fatty. Stop eating and let’s go.” He reached down and clipped the rope to his halter. He gave a few sharp tugs on the rope and Red unwillingly raised his head and followed Chase out of the stall. Chase led his horse out of the barn and in the direction of Hayden. Red raised his head and neighed at Rolex in the paddock. Red pranced on the spot wanted to go out and play with Rolex. Chase stopped him and made him walk. They reached Hayden. “So, this is Red. What do you think?”::Horse:: click here::Words:: 601 ::Tags:: Hayden ::Credit:: AddiGrey@JADRidingAcademy

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- "Sure. He would love to meet you. I'll be right back and don't let Rolex roll." Chase said sounding happy to have something to think about besides Big Shot. I looked over toward Rolex who wasn't giving any signs of rolling. Hayden walked over to the fence line, forcing each leg to move forward. She hopped onto the fence with her two hands behind her, pulling herself up and walked Rolex. The sun was beginning to rise and set a yellow glow on the edges of Rolex's coat. Hayden smiled at her horse and replayed in her mind how unwilling she had been when she first meet him. Hayden snapped back to reality when she heard a long neigh from the side door. Her head whirled around and she spotted Chase and Red. The dashing bay horse pranced in place as he spotted Rolex. Rolex looked over to Red and walked toward the gate. "Good boy" Hayden praised as she moved him form the gate to let Chase in.
Once Chase was in the pasture he stopped Red and asked, “So, this is Red. What do you think?” Hayden grinned, "He's gorgeous, Chase. My god, look at his figure. What breed is he?" She held her palm face up for him to sniff. He mushed his muzzle into her hand and Hayden let out a half-hearted laugh. She walked back to the fence line and sat on the top again. Hayden's mind whirred about her secret. She almost sensed it would bite her in the butt. She didn't want to freak Chase out but she didn't want to wait to tell him then never end up doing it. She let out a long sigh and looked over at Rolex. "I'm bisexual" I said without watching his face. "I hope you don't care because the kiss I just had with you was the best kiss I've ever had." I looked toward his face, waiting for the horrified look. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair in messy bun;make-up black eyeliner and mascara Word Count- 339 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- Err...... Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. "He's gorgeous, Chase. My god, look at his figure. What breed is he?" Hayden said offering her palm to Red. Chase shrugged. "I'm pretty sure he is a thoroughbred." He said thinking for a minute. Chase actually didn't know what breed he was. Chase watched as Red mashed his muzzle into her hand and Hayden let out a half-hearted laugh. "Red! Manners!" He exclaimed. Hayden waked back to the fence line and Chase unclipped Red from the lead line and turned to walk towards Hayden. Red butted his head into Chase and made him stumble forward. He turned with a smile on his face. He knew Red wanted to play with him. Totally forgetting about Hayden and her horse, he started to run away from Red. Even though Chase was pretty fast, he could not outrun his thoroughbred horse. Within seconds Red was chasing circle around Chase. Meanwhile Chase was laughing and suddenly he stopped and fell to the ground. Red kept going for a few moments before getting curious about Chase. He nudged him with his head a few times before Chase grabbed onto his neck and swung himself up onto his back. He grabbed a handful of mane and Red playing along started to buck around. He wasn’t bucking serious, just little ones that moved Chase around in his back. He put one arm up in the air and waved it around while screaming out, “Ride’ em Cowboy!” He waited until Red had slowed down before he hopped off and walked back over to Hayden. He noticed that Hayden was now sitting on the top rail and she looked like she was debating with herself. As soon as he sat down next to her she blurted out "I'm bisexual" She refused to look at him. "I hope you don't care because the kiss I just had with you was the best kiss I've ever had." Then she finally looked at Chase. Chase really didn’t care about her being bi, to him that just made her more special than the other girls he had met before. “I could really care less about what you are, as long as you have feelings for me then I’m good.” He said nudging her with his elbow. “And besides I think that’s more exciting for me, you not being like every other girl here. That just makes me want you more.” ::Words:: 398 ::Tags:: Hayden ::Notes:: Same here. ROFLSHMSFOAIDMT ::Credit:: AddiGrey@JADRidingAcademy

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- Chase shrugged when Hayden asked about Red's breed, he looked a little shy about his horse getting so many complements. "I'm pretty sure he is a thoroughbred." He answered after a moment. Hayden nodded. "Red! Manners!" He exclaimed when Red shoved his muzzle into Hayden's hand. She laughed at his reaction and tossed him a goofy grin. She watched as Chase and Red began to play a game of tag. She smiled as Rolex tried to catch up with them. Chase suddenly dropped. Hayden's eyebrows knit together as she leaned forward a bit to get a closer look. Suddenly Chase grabbed Red's neck and swung himself up onto the horse's back. She laughed loudly this time. God, they were like two kids. Not a care in the world. She loved her and Rolex's relationship but it wasn't like this, it was more like, best friends who like to poke at each others nerves.
"Omigod" Hayden whispered to herself between laughs as Chase screamed, “Ride’ em Cowboy!” He and Red flew around the pasture. Rolex let out a shrill neigh and tossed his mane. Hayden knew he wanted to play too. Chase walked over to her and sat next to her. After she released her secret and finally looked at Chase he gave her a, 'and?' look as if he was waiting for the real secret. Then he said, “I could really care less about what you are, as long as you have feelings for me then I’m good.” She smiled as he playfully nudged her with his elbow. “And besides I think that’s more exciting for me, you not being like every other girl here. That just makes me want you more.” Hayden turned to him and gave him a devilish smile. "So lets kick it up a notch, shall we." She said. Without a care in the world she linked her hands behind his neck and kissed Chase again. Harder this time, much more passion. Wanting. Her lips parted farther and she couldn't help but smile. She finally pulled back. "Your not who I thought you were." She said looking straight at his eyes.
Suddenly she heard a truck pull into the parking lot. "The vet!" She said as she jumped down from the fence. "Can you stay here with Rolex?" She asked. Before he could answer she replied, "THANL YOU!" She headed down the dirt path back into the stable, down the aisle and meet the vet in the lobby. Hayden pulled her phone from her bag and read the time, '7:53'. It had felt like minutes with Chase, not an hour. "Hello Dr.Chcassy" Hayden said as she shook her hand. "Hi, the traffic was light and I got out early." She answered. Hayden nodded and lead her toward the pasture. "Oh good, you got him standing" Dr.Chcassy said as she approached the pasture. "No my friend here did. His horse has had lots of colic cases." Hayden answered smiling at Chase. The doctor frowned and addressed Chase, "You should be more carful with your horse, colic is nothing to laugh at." Hayden frowned and watched Chase's face. Before anything could happen Hayden snapped, "He's a great owner, its the careless staff here who lets our horses eat weeds." Dr.Chcassy didn't say anything else as she walked into the pasture and looked over Rolex.
About 20 minutes later she announced, "He'll be fine. Make sure he drinks and walks. If he doesn't show signs of recovery by tomorrow call again but if he does recover he'll be back to normal and ready to ride by next week." Hayden plastered a smile on her face and said, "Thanks. Do you know your way out?" The doctor frowned again but nodded. She walked out of the pasture and back into the stables. The second she was gone Hayden turned to Chase and wrapped him in a bear hug. "He's gonna be okay." She said in his ear. She pulled away and ran over to Rolex. She hugged his neck and kissed his cheek. Red nickered as if to laugh, Rolex shook me off like a self conscious teen boy being kissed by his mother. Hayden laughed as she said, "Back to normal already." She went back and sat with Chase. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair in messy bun;make-up black eyeliner and mascara Word Count- 731 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- Err...... Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. When Chase told her his opinion about her being bi, she just gave him a devilish smile and said, "So let’s kick it up a notch, shall we." Without giving Chase anytime to even think about it, she had linked her hands behind his neck and kissed Chase again. Harder this time, much more passion. Chase didn’t mind kissing her; he wanted to kiss her again. This time she parted her lips further and Chase followed her movements. He even kept parting them farther after she had stopped. Before She pulled away from him, he gently nipped her bottom lips with his teeth.. After that she pulled back and said staring into his eyes, "Your not who I thought you were." Chase smirked. “And who did you think I was? Spider Man?” Before she could answer his question, she jumped off the fence and yelled out "The vet!" Chase opened his mouth as if he was going to say something then she asked "Can you stay here with Rolex?" Without waiting for a reply she headed down the path yelling out "THANK YOU!" Chase really didn’t mind watching Rolex but he wished she would of let him talk every once and a while. He hopped off the fence grabbing hold of Red and clipping the lead line onto his halter. He decided that Red needed a good grooming and the second Hayden got back he was going to go back into the barn and he was going to give Red a grooming. A few minutes later, Hayden and a lady, probably the vet came strolling over to where Chase was standing. He heard the vet say to Hayden, "Oh good, you got him standing" Hayden then replied smiling at Chase "No my friend here did. His horse has had lots of colic cases." Chase gave a quick smile back to her. The doctor frowned and addressed Chase, "You should be more careful with your horse, colic is nothing to laugh at." Chase felt his temper flare but before he could reply with a nasty comment, Hayden snapped back at the vet. "He's a great owner; it’s the careless staff here that lets our horses eat weeds." Dr.Chcassy didn’t say anything and moved straight onto checking Rolex out. Chase handed her the lead line and muttered to Hayden. “I’m out, I’ll be back in 20 minutes if you are done before come find me.” Chase walked Red out of the pasture and down the path towards the barn. He opened the side door and clipped Red into the set of crossties nearest his stall. Chase started off with the curry comb and noticed that Red had developed a layer of muscle since he had come to Pinewood. Chase nodded approvingly. It looked as if Hayden was right about him being gorgeous. Chase finished with the curry comb and grabbed the hard brush and started to brush out all the loose dirt that was left behind from the curry comb. 4 minutes later he had finished the soft brush and was in the middle of picking Red’s hooves. He finished picking his feet and worked his way through combing Red’s mane. It wasn’t that knotty but it required a little bit of elbow grease. Finally he finished his grooming with 1 minute to spare. He quickly put Red back in his stall and fed him a carrot. He latched the door and jogged out to the paddock with Rolex in it. He got there just in time to hear the vet say "He'll be fine. Make sure he drinks and walks. If he doesn't show signs of recovery by tomorrow call again but if he does recover he'll be back to normal and ready to ride by next week." He looked at Hayden and noticed she wore a smile on her face that looked forced. "Thanks. Do you know your way out?" She said. The doctor frowned again but nodded. Chase sat down against the fence pole and watched her walk out of the paddock and back into the stables. The second she was gone Hayden turned to Chase and wrapped him in a bear hug. He wrapped his arms around her and she said in his ear "He's gonna be okay." She pulled away and ran over to Rolex. Chase watched as she hugged his neck and kissed his cheek. Chase smiled as Rolex shook Hayden off like a self conscious teen boy being kissed by his mother. Chase listened as Hayden laughed and said, "Back to normal already." She went back and sat with Chase. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her into him so she was leaning on his shoulder. They sat in silence just watching Rolex graze finally looking better. ::Words:: 795 ::Tags:: Hayden ::Notes:: Sorry I didn’t give you anything to post off of. ::Credit:: AddiGrey@JADRidingAcademy

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- As Chase nipped her bottom lip Hayden let out a little laugh. "Your not who I thought you were." She said. Chase smirked and answered, “And who did you think I was? Spider Man?” Hayden laughed this time and retorted, "Nah just batman." ------------------ After the vet had snapped at Chase he walked over to her and whispered, “I’m out, I’ll be back in 20 minutes if you are done before come find me.” Hayden looked at his face and read that he wasn't in the mood to deal with this woman. She nodded slowly and whispered back, "Okay" As the vet said, "He'll be fine." Chase came back into view. After the vet was gone and Rolex had shaken Hayden off, he began to graze. Chase wrapped his arm around Hayden's shoulder and pulled her close so she would lean on him. She did but only for a moment before sitting back up and saying, "Am I really that lucky or are you taken?" She said it as if it were a joke but she was dead serious inside. Her last fling had ended when the boy's other girlfriend caught Hayden and the boy on a date.
She looked over Rolex as the sun moved it's way above the trees. She rubbed the tips of her sandals on one of the fence's planks. She pushed her hair out of her face and pulled her black hair tie from her hair. "So I know you ride but I seriously know nothing else about you, care to share?" She finally said. She looked over toward Chase and traced his face with her eyes. She hadn't felt this way about a boy so fast since Liam. She rubbed her palms together as she waited for him to answer. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair, down;make-up black eyeliner and mascara Word Count- 311 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- blah Other- Nah its fine Template; Alex/Hayden/Lexi @pinewoodstablev2.proboards.com

Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. Hayden leaned against Chase for a few moments before she pulled back and asked Chase, "Am I really that lucky or are you taken?" It sounded as if she was joking but Chase could tell she was dead serious. Chase smirked and replied, “I’m single. I’ve been here like 3 weeks. Do you really think someone would want to associate themselves with me?” Chase said. Chase watched as she looked over Rolex as the sun rose higher in the sky. “It’s pretty isn’t it?” Chase said watching the sun as well. Chase watched her rub her shoes against the fence post. Her hair had fallen in her face and she pushed it back with her hands. She grabbed the hair tie and pulled it out of her hair. "So I know you ride but I seriously know nothing else about you, care to share?" She said after they had sat in silence for a long time. Chase shrugged. “Let me just say you asked for it.” He said a few moments. He really didn’t want to think about his past or anything because it still hurt. But if she wanted to know he would tell her. Chase took a deep breath and started,
“Before I came to Pinewood, I was rude, used to bully kids sometimes even physically and didn’t care about anyone but myself. My dad had been the same way to me. I learned from him that violence was acceptable. He used to beat me up if I said or did anything wrong. I used to go to school with bruises all over my face and people would question me about them but I would only get defensive and I put up a wall around me. I wouldn’t let anyone in and the only one who suffered was me.” “My dad finally kicked me out of the house when I was eleven and from then on in, I lived on the streets causing trouble around town. I was a wreck. I had never experienced something as hard as fending for yourself on the streets. The people I met and fought where as scary as hell. And being only 11 it was scarier being on my own for the first time. I moved around a lot trying to find a good place to stay and food sources. I lived on the streets for a year before someone finally had the heart to give me a better house and life. I lived with them for 4 years before they could officially adopt me. They treated me like a wounded animal and I treated them like crap. It was them who got me interested in horses and they are the owners of Toby and Red. I have so much owed to them it’s not even funny. They gave me a life I would never have gotten with my lame excuse of a father” Chase said, his eyes darkening when he mentioned his father.
Chase shook his head. “Enough said about me. What about you? I have no clue about you. How’d your parents respond to you being bi?” Chase said without flinching. He wanted to know a little more about her before he asked her out which he had plans to do right after she responded. He actually wouldn’t care less about her after she told him a little more about herself. He liked this girl and there was nothing that would change it.

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- Hayden lay her question of single-ness down and Chase smirked, “I’m single. I’ve been here like 3 weeks. Do you really think someone would want to associate themselves with me?” Hayden half grinned and trailed her fingers up Chase's arm, "I do" She whispered. Chase and Hayden sat watching the sun then to break the silence Chase said, “It’s pretty isn’t it?”. Hayden slowly nodded. Her mind wandered to nothing as the sun rose further. Suddenly Chase said, "So I know you ride but I seriously know nothing else about you, care to share?" Hayden sighed and thought about things that wouldn't dig up to much hurt but as she thought Chase said, “Let me just say you asked for it.”
Chase sighed and seemed to think about what to tell Hayden and what not to. I wouldn’t let anyone in and the only one who suffered was me.” Hayden watched Chase's eyes as he re-lived the story in his mind. He tensed and untensed, flowing in and out of stress.
“My dad finally kicked me out of the house when I was eleven and from then on in, I lived on the streets causing trouble around town. I was a wreck. I had never experienced something as hard as fending for yourself on the streets. The people I met and fought where as scary as hell. And being only 11 it was scarier being on my own for the first time." Hayden thought about herself at 11. She would have died on the street. "I moved around a lot trying to find a good place to stay and food sources. I lived on the streets for a year before someone finally had the heart to give me a better house and life."
Chase continued and his eyes hardened, "I lived with them for 4 years before they could officially adopt me. They treated me like a wounded animal and I treated them like crap. It was them who got me interested in horses and they are the owners of Toby and Red. I have so much owed to them it’s not even funny. They gave me a life I would never have gotten with my lame excuse of "a father”." With the words, "a father" Chase hardened more. "Where is your father now? Do you know?" Hayden asked.
Chase shook his head, as if to shake away the thoughts. “Enough said about me. What about you? I have no clue about you. How’d your parents respond to you being bi?” Chase said looking actually interested. "Wow...." Hayden said as she thought over her past, "My life was great compared to yours Chase."
Hayden began her long life story from the beginning, "I was born in the upper part of Maine. When I was two years old my parents had," I paused to put air quotes around the next words, "accident sex and got me a sister, Annabel. She's 17 now. Then we packed up and moved on over to Connecticut. 3 years later my parents gifted me and my sister with a brother, Markus, he's 14 now. My mom took up a job so she would drop me and Markus off at day-care. She took Annabel to another day care, Annabel had separation issues. So I raised my brother really. He's like my best friend."
Hayden continued, "When I was 13 I got into horses. I liked it a lot but something happened when I was 15 where all I wanted was to be at the stable. I didn't know why but I felt like I NEEDED to be at teh stable. My parents freaked and my brother tried to help me, my rents took me to a psych, gave me meds, and they always checked me for drugs. I just shut down. I didn't know what the heck was going on and it scared me to death. I found out one day when I walked into my stable and saw one of the stable hands, Amber, kissing a boy and I just got SO jealous. I thought I was lesbian and closed up to the point where I wouldn't talk."
"My parents tried psychs and meds again and after 4 months of silence I was dying in my own mind. One day my parents dragged me into the car, I was 16 at the time and began driving. I stayed silent until the stable came into view then I literally had a panic attack. I jumped out of the car and ran away from the stable. Then I saw Rolex and everything fell into place. I started to open up again and go back to school. Rolex was my angle."
Hayden sighed and got ready to wrap up the story, "In high school I met a guy and decided I was bisexual. I enrolled at Meredith Manor Collage for Equestrian studies just down the road and started going to school there. I hated the stables. SUPER cramped so I moved Rolex here. I finally told my parents I was bi last year and they freaked SO much they wanted me to move back to Connecticut, I refused and they moved everyone out here and forced me back into the house."
Hayden decided to lighten the mood a bit, "I have a bulldog named Teddi, a cat named Purfect, and a whippet named Cam. Acually only Teddi is mine but the other two live with the family." I paused and thought about other things, "I have a purple mustang. I love vintage Clothes and the outdoors and hate bras that hook in the front and uncommon names." Hayden grinned and looked over to Chase, "Learn enough?" She asked playfully. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair, down;make-up black eyeliner and mascara Word Count- 1,055 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- SOOOOOO stressed. Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. When Chase made a reference to his father Hayden interrupted him and asked “Where is your father now? Do you know?" Chase paused. “My father died of cancer a few years back. It’s not like I care or anything, I’m just glad he is gone so he can’t screw me around anymore.” Chase then switched the spotlight onto Hayden. He asked her about herself and what her parents thought of her being bi. Before she went into her story she made a comment about Chase’s. "Wow....My life was great compared to yours Chase." He shrugged; he was used to people saying that after he confessed his past.
Hayden started, "I was born in the upper part of Maine. When I was two years old my parents had accident sex and got me a sister, Annabel. She's 17 now. Then we packed up and moved on over to Connecticut. 3 years later my parents gifted me and my sister with a brother, Markus, he's 14 now. Hayden continued, "When I was 13 I got into horses. I liked it a lot but something happened when I was 15 where all I wanted was to be at the stable. I didn't know why but I felt like I NEEDED to be at the stable. My parents freaked and my brother tried to help me, my ‘rents took me to a psych, gave me meds, and they always checked me for drugs. I just shut down. I didn't know what the heck was going on and it scared me to death. I found out one day when I walked into my stable and saw one of the stable hands, Amber, kissing a boy and I just got SO jealous. I thought I was lesbian and closed up to the point where I wouldn't talk." Chase continued to listen. He felt like he wasn’t supposed to interrupt, he felt as if she needed to get all of it out.
"My parents tried psyches and meds again and after 4 months of silence I was dying in my own mind. One day my parents dragged me into the car; I was 16 at the time and began driving. I stayed silent until the stable came into view then I literally had a panic attack. I jumped out of the car and ran away from the stable. Then I saw Rolex and everything fell into place. I started to open up again and go back to school. Rolex was my angel."
Chase watched Hayden as she sighed and got ready to wrap up her story, "In high school I met a guy and decided I was bisexual. I finally told my parents I was bi last year and they freaked SO much they wanted me to move back to Connecticut, I refused and they moved everyone out here and forced me back into the house."
Chase was speechless. He wrapped his arm around her and embraced her like there was no tomorrow. He never knew he would find some one almost as messed up as he was. That proved to him that he wasn’t alone in the world and he could get through his problems. “I’m glad you told me this. It means more to me than it seems. You are the first person to ever not judge me and to be thisclose to me AND be almost as messed up as I am.” He said after he gathered his words.
Hayden seemed to lighten the mood when she said "I have a bulldog named Teddi, a cat named Purfect, and a whippet named Cam. Actually only Teddi is mine but the other two live with the family." I paused and thought about other things, "I have a purple mustang. I love vintage Clothes and the outdoors and hate bras that hook in the front and uncommon names." Chase smirked when she made the comment about bras that hook in the front. “I have no animals except my horse which isn’t really mine, I like to play baseball-which I excel at, my foster parents pay for everything I need, I don’t own a car, I don’t like bright colors and I find that bras that hook in the front are very convenient. But I can make do with bras that hook at the back” He smiled flirtatiously. When she asked him if he had learned enough he replied with “Totally. And if you want I can prove to you that I can make the bras that hook at the back work for me.” He said coyly. He slid his fingers lightly up and down her arms while he stared right into her eyes with a smile on his face.

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- “My father died of cancer a few years back. It’s not like I care or anything, I’m just glad he is gone so he can’t screw me around anymore.” Chase said. Hayden tracked his eyes and tried to decode his feelings. Chase was hard to read and Hayden came up blank. After Hayden had finished her long story of her past Chase sat silently for a moment. She wondered if she had said too much too fast. Suddenly he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly.
Confused for a moment Hayden hung limp but really she didn't care why he was hugging her, she just wanted him to hug her tighter. She squeezed back and buried her face into his neck. He smelled like peppermint and old spice. Hayden loved it. After a moment Chase pulled back and said, “I’m glad you told me this. It means more to me than it seems. You are the first person to ever not judge me and to be this close to me AND be almost as messed up as I am.”
Hayden laughed, she wouldn't take offense for the 'messed up' comment. She knew her past was messed up. Her problems were freaky but she needed people to embrace her with those problems. Something her parents had never done. "I've never opened up to anyone so fast." Hayden confessed. "I don't know why, not that I'm complaining, but I feel really close and safe with you."
When Hayden reported her pets, likes, dislikes, and car Chase retorted, “I have no animals except my horse which isn’t really mine, I like to play baseball-which I excel at, my foster parents pay for everything I need, I don’t own a car, I don’t like bright colors and I find that bras that hook in the front are very convenient. But I can make do with bras that hook at the back” Hayden threw her head back and laughed, "Easier for the boy to unhook it though when getting ready to do the deed" She pointed out with a grin.
"Did you learn enough" Hayden asked, “Totally. And if you want I can prove to you that I can make the bras that hook at the back work for me.” Hayden raised her eye brows and tried hard not to laugh. He slid his fingers up her arm and gave her a heart stopping smile. "Come on Chase, I've been so good lately." She partly joked. Sex was an interesting topic for Hayden, when she thought she was lesbian she had done it with lots of boys trying to reverse the feeling.
Hayden confessed this to Chase, "Besides I've never done it with a boy I liked. Just senseless to try and reverse being bi when I first found out." Hayden leaned closer to Chase and pressed her lips to his. She parted slightly and let him take the lead. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair, down;make-up black eyeliner and mascara Word Count- 501 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- Itching to post (I feel like I use the word itching alot.....)
