Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. Chase gave Hayden his address and in just a few short minutes, they had pulled into his driveway. Hayden asked Chase where she should park and Chase motioned her to a spot on the left. They got out of the car and Chase walked ahead of Hayden so he could get the front door. He ushered her inside and she stopped in the front foyer. "Is anyone home?" Chase laughed. “If you don’t consider the maids and the cook, no one is home.” Actually I live here alone. “He said stating the truth. His foster parents had wanted to give him his own space so they bought him this house.
"So wanna give me a full tour or just head straight up to your room?" Hayden asked playfully. She stepped closer and wrapped her left arm around his neck. She moved even closer and started to kiss his neck. He closed his eyes and felt her move along his collarbone. He sighed. “You are in my house and you play by my rules” He whispered to her. He gently lifted her chin up to his mouth. He kissed her softly. He separated his lips and his tongue darted playfully in and out of her mouth. After a few moments of them standing in the front hall making out he pulled away. “I’m gunna give you a tour. Torment you like you did to me.” He whispered still inches away from her. He gave her a quick peck on the mouth and grabbed her hand.
“First we have the kitchen” he said walking through the kitchen. “Now the Dinning room, the den, the powder room, and the office.” He said as they went through the main floor. The one thing about the main floor was that it was all open one room leading to the next except the washroom which had separate doors across from the den. They walked up the main stairs. There was two going to the second floor and one going downstairs. “There is nothing really downstairs, just where the maids and cook lives. What we want is upstairs.” Chase showed her through the games room, the 4 guest rooms, the bathrooms and the TV room. He came up to a closed door and stopped. “My room.” He announced to Hayden with a smile. He opened the door broadcasting his room to Hayden. He stepped into his room pulling Hayden with him.
He sat down on his bed pulling Hayden onto his lap. He fixed her legs so she was straddling him. “So what did you think of the house?” He smiled looking up at her.

"Maybe add a pool then I'll move in after collage." Hayden said, after Chase asked her about her impression on the house. Chase smiled. He had already though about getting a pool built in his backyard. It wasn’t as if he didn’t have the space. "It's all boring...." Hayden said after a few moments. Chase was confused. “What’s all boring?” He asked. She twisted to face him and kissed him. Chase closed his eyes and returned the kiss. HE parted his lips naturally and all too soon, she pulled back and warned Chase, "No sex". Chase winked. “You got it. No sex. But can we at least lie down? My head is starting to hurt again. And no I don’t need more drugs- it screws me up.” He was serious but with a playful tone. Hayden leaned back in towards him and met his lips.
After a few minutes Chase pulled away. “I need to get changed. I smell like horse crap. I’ll only be one second.” He freed himself from her legs and walked over to his closet. He shed his clothes and put on his board shorts and a clean pair of socks. He didn’t put a shirt on because he wanted to get back to Hayden ASAP and he didn’t want to put on a clean shirt and then have to take it off again. He kept thinking about what she had said about no sex. It seemed right because they had only met this morning but to Chase it felt like they had known each other forever. He smiled as she came into view. She hadn’t noticed him yet and he climbed onto the bed so he was facing her back. He wound his arms around her from the back. He kissed the back of her shoulder and up her neck. Almost as if he was taunting her. He kept this up and then suddenly he stopped leaning back and flopping down on the bed. He stared at the ceiling and let out a sigh. He closed his eyes, suddenly tired. Today had been a long day. “C’mon grandma you move slower then a really big turtle. He was hoping she would get the message soon enough.

Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. Hayden stood up off of Chase’s bed and Chase knew something was up. "The last guy I had sex with was a 42 year old dad. And guess what? He was a CVS clerk. He took me into the back storage room and...." Hayden chocked on her words, "he......." tears fell from her eyes.”It wasn't my choice. Let’s leave it at that." Chase was shocked. He made a move to get up to comfort her when she said "So respect my wishes. I'm not ready and I've said that twice today." Chase looked down. She had totally misread him- he did respect her decision and he wasn’t going to do anything.
Before Chase could say anything, she whirled around and darted out of the room. She started to head towards the stairs then suddenly turned and walked into the washroom. She closed at locked the door. Chase was livid. How can she accuse him of that? He had just laid back on his bed! Like he felt sorry for her with the 42 year old man but Chase was 19. Chase let out a noise that sounded like a growl. He knew he had to talk to her but he couldn’t trust his words anymore. He found a scrap piece of paper and wrote what he would have said to her down.
“ Hayden. I’m sorry bout the 42 year old man situation. I meant no harm when I had laid down on my bed. You do know if you lye down it doesn’t necessarily mean we have to have sex but I respect your decision and you have every right to be mad at me for whatever you are mad at me for. You know where the front door is if you feel you would like to leave. I just wanted you to know that. I felt that if I told you this like through speech I would find a way to screw it up again. This is the last thing I wanted to happen. Chase
He folded it in half and wrote her name on the top. He walked down to the bathroom seeing that the door was still locked. He knocked on the door lightly then bent down to slide the note through. He got up not waiting for her to reply and walked down the stairs through the kitchen into the garage. He walked over to his garage fridge and took out one of the beers. He popped open the can and took a mighty swig. He pulled over the lawn chair he had set up and sat down in it. He relaxed into the chair and closed his eyes resting the beer on his stomach. Every so often he would take a drink. He just waited listening for the sound of a car pulling away from his house and him himself.

Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. Chase heard the garage door open and then close. He listened as footsteps came closer to where he was. Chase opened his eyes when he heard her whisper "Under age" He smiled. “Shh no one has to know. This is my emergency stack to cool off when I need a breather.” He said only a few bars higher then she had spoken in. She grabbed his hand and took the beer. She took a sip then threw it in the trash. “Under age.” He whispered at her. He smirked and let her pull him up.
Hayden led him back into the house then up the stairs back into his room. Chase smiled as she shut the door. She slowly pushed him onto his back and Chase looked at her unsure. “Are you sure?” He said as she laid herself on top of him. Without words she kissed him. She slipped out of her clothes and Chase mirrored her actions. He slide his pants over his ankles and tossed them to the floor. Right now he could care less about his clothes- all his attention was on Hayden and what was going to happen next.
-----------------------------------------
Chase felt someone stir beside him. He knew it was early morning because he could feel the sunlight filter through his window. "Hey Chase, wake up." Hayden said pushing him slightly. He groaned. He rolled over and threw his arm around her bringing her closer to him. “10 more minutes.” He murmured. He sighed going back to sleep.
12 minutes later, he opened his eyes to look at Hayden. He smiled. Everything from last night came flooding back to him. He searched around on the floor. He finally grabbed a handful of material and shoved his boxers on. He threw back the covers and got up. He stretched out his arms and yawned. “I don’t now about you but I’m going to hop in the shower. You know where the kitchen is. I’ll only be a few minutes.” He winked at her and headed towards the washroom. He started the hot water and got into the shower. He had kept the door unlocked in case Hayden needed to use the washroom. Or anything like that. He started to wash his hair. He still smelt like horse crap. He was pretty sure when he fell yesterday that he had landed in crap. He intensified the hot water tap wanting as much steam in here as possible. It would help him with his head.

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- “10 more minutes.” Chase said after Hayden had pulled him out of his sleep. Hayden rolled her eyes and tucked herself back under the covers. She closed her eyes but made no more to sleep. She just thought about her life and what she wanted. And when Chase got up out of bed Hayden had decided what she wanted.
Hayden opened her eyes as Chase said, “I don’t now about you but I’m going to hop in the shower. You know where the kitchen is. I’ll only be a few minutes.” He winked at her and headed for the bathroom. Hayden threw off the covers and looked at her clothes on the floor. She stuffed her shirt, jewelry, and sunglasses into her bag and slipped into her shorts and sandals. She pushed open Chase's closet and looked for a jacket. She threw one on and jogged down stairs.
At the kitchen table Hayden lay down her bag and opened cupboards. Suddenly an indian man walked out of the hallway. "May I get you some breakfast Ms.Hayden?" He asked as he stood behind the island of the kitchen. "Uhhh...." Hayden stuttered wondering how in the world the man knew her name, "What do you have?" She finally asked. He smiled and replied, "Anything you want." Hayden thought about what she wanted to eat, "Belgian waffles with home-made whipped cream, butter, and a little bit of maple syrup." He nodded and turned away from her to begin making it.
Hayden sat at the table a few minutes later with her waffles. Chase came down and the second he sat down Hayden said, "Can I move in with you?" Hayden decided to drop the bomb too. Lay it all out, "I love you. And I want to move in." She hoped with all her heart he didn't freak out. But it was already insane that they had really only met yesterday and Hayden loved him. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair, down;make-up none Word Count- 329 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- muse-y Other- Hey I might have to delete this.....if thats okay. Chase turned off the tap and got out of the shower. He dried himself of and came out of the washroom. All this time he was thinking about what he wanted his future to be like, he knew it was going to involve Hayden. He had only started liking her yesterday and it was already starting to feel like he was starting to go farther then just ‘like’. Chase walked into his closet and put on a pair of sweats and left his top bare. Hayden wasn’t in sight so she must have gone down to the kitchen. As Hayden came into view he extended his stride and his face broke out into a huge grin. Chase walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.
He had barely sat down when Hayden asked him "Can I move in with you?" Chase didn’t flinch. It was like she had read his mind. He moved closer to her and put his arms around her. He leaned down and whispered in her ear. “I feel the same about you and I would love if you moved in. The sooner the better actually. It’s not as if I don’t have any spare rooms you could have.” He pulled back. “But what about your parents? What would they think?” He hadn’t thought about how her parents would take this. But he hoped they would understand.
Chase sat down next to Hayden at the table and he slid his fingers through hers. HE squeezed his hand and smiled at her. “I’m serious though. I would quite happily help you move in today even, it’s not very fun being here alone. But would you still insist on a pool?” He teased. Then Amar, the Indian cook walked in carrying what looked like Hayden’s breakfast. “Hey you go Ms. Hayden.” He said placing the plate down in front of her. He then turned to Chase. “Good Morning Mr. Chase. What would you like for breakfast” Chase thought about that for a minute. “I’ll have a bowl of Honey Comb Cereal and I’ll have an orange freshly cut and a glass of orange juice please.” He told the cook. Amar just nodded and walked down towards the kitchen.
Minutes later Amar reappeared with his breakfast. He smiled at the cook and started eating. He was starving and shoveled mouthfuls of cereal into his mouth. He looked up at Hayden and watched her as he ate.

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- Chase leaned into her and laced his arms through hers. “I feel the same about you and I would love if you moved in. The sooner the better actually. It’s not as if I don’t have any spare rooms you could have.” Hayden grinned but suddenly Chase pulled back, “But what about your parents? What would they think?” Before Hayden could answer Chase sat next to Hayden and grabbed her hand, “I’m serious though. I would quite happily help you move in today even, it’s not very fun being here alone. But would you still insist on a pool?” Suddenly the cook walked in and handed Hayden her breakfast, “Here you go Ms. Hayden." He turned 90 degrees and addressed Chase. "Good Morning Mr. Chase. What would you like for breakfast” Hayden dug into her food and listened to Chase's order, “I’ll have a bowl of Honey Comb Cereal and I’ll have an orange freshly cut and a glass of orange juice please.” The cook nodded and walked away.
"I don't know how they'd take it" Hayden said pulling the subject back to her parents. "Probably happy at first that they could get grand kids then that will wear off. They'll think were joking. I'll say no. They'll get angry and threaten to not pay my tuition for school." Hayden sighed and pushed her waffle to the side and dove into a bowl of strawberries sitting in front of her. "I wanna go to school. I need an education to get a job and I really like Meredith Manor." Hayden finished. She sighed again as the cook walked back into the dinning room with Chase's breakfast.
"Let me go talk to them" Hayden said as she stood form the table. She grabbed her car keys and walked out the door. While she drove to her house she thought over her argument. The second she reached her house she felt her face turn pale. Without another thought Hayden opened her car door and crossed the short distance from the garage to the side entrance of the house. As she pushed open the door her mother and father looked over at her from the breakfast nook.
Hayden strode over to them and lay her palms flat on the table. "I'm moving in with Chase. Whether you like it or not." Hayden stated calmly. Her mother laughed and said, "Sure honey. Have some breakfast. Where have you been?" Hayden's face grew hot with anger, "I'm serious and it's none of your business where I've been." She snapped. Her father's face hardened and he stood, "Don't give us that...." Hayden cut him off, "So I'm moving out. Here's the deal." Hayden's father cut back in, "No de-" Before he could finish his word Hayden cut back in, hoping that was all the cutting in her father would do.
"No. This is my deal. I move out. You leave my room the why it is hand over 50 grand for me to start off my life and pay the next year of my collage. I'll pay the last." Hayden said head cocked. Her father grew angry and challenged, "And if we don't?" Hayden placed her hand on her hip and said, "Then you won't be seeing me again. I'm an adult I get my choices." Her father's face grew redder but her mother interjected, "Deal." Hayden's face lit up. "Thanks mom" She said with a smile. "HONEY!?!??!?!" Her father's voice boomed. Her mother shrugged as if to say, "Hayden's right."
Hayden grinned and said, "I'll be by to pick up my things tomorrow. Won't be much because I'm leaving my bed and tv and stuff here." Her mother nodded and asked quietly, "When will you visit us." Hayden moved toward her mother and hugged her, "As much as I can" She said after a moment. After 20 more minutes of talking Hayden headed out the door and popped back into the car. She drove back to Chase's and now her home and parked her mustang. As she opened the door she said, "Yup. I'm living here now." She cracked a grin and ran into Chase's arms. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair, down;make-up none Word Count- 728 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- muse-y Other- Don't freak that the posts aren't there I just deleted them. "I don't know how they'd take it" Hayden said when Chase asked her about her parents. "Probably happy at first that they could get grand kids then that will wear off.” Chase smiled when she mentioned grandchildren. “They'll think were joking. I'll say no. They'll get angry and threaten to not pay my tuition for school." She pushed aside her waffle and chose her bowl of fruit. "I wanna go to school. I need an education to get a job and I really like Meredith Manor." Hayden finished. He understood that going to school was important to her and he wasn’t going to make her choose between living with him and school.
“I want you to know if they make you choose either living with me or school. You should choose school. Living with me can wait, school can’t. I just want you to know.” He said as Amar walked in with his food. Chase nodded his thanks and returned his attention to Hayden. "Let me go talk to them" She said. Chase nodded. That sounded good. She grabbed her car keys and Chase listened as she pulled away from his driveway. Chase alone again, slowly finished eating. He left the bowls on the table and went into the office. He started up his computer and pulled up the search engine.
20 minutes later he had set up an appointment for the pool company to come start building his pool this afternoon. The one thing Hayden had wanted was a pool and if she could live here, he was going to build her a pool. He heard a car pull into the driveway. He walked to the front door just as it opened. Hayden appeared with a smile on her face. That meant good news. His face mirrored her smile. "Yup. I'm living here now." She ran into Chase’s arms. He enveloped her squeezing her tight. “I have something to tell you. I’ve been thinking. You said that a pool would make this house better right? Soooo I’ve decided to put in a pool. Anything you want- you can have. The pool company is coming this afternoon to go over the details.” He whispered in her ear. He was excited that he would be living with someone and not his parents anymore. Because it got very lonely in this house by himself.

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- Chase tightened a squeeze on Hayden as she annoced she was living with him, “I have something to tell you." Hayden nodded and pulled back to look at him, a curious look in her eye, "I’ve been thinking. You said that a pool would make this house better right? Soooo I’ve decided to put in a pool. Anything you want- you can have. The pool company is coming this afternoon to go over the details.” Hayden's mouth fell open, "Chase, yyou ddddon't have to do thattt...." She stuttered so shocked. "GO CANCLE IT! IT COSTS MONEY!" She fake shouted at him.
"Picking up my stuff tomorrow and I'm gonna pay for a room designer to do my new room. Part of my rents and I's deal was they give me 50 grand to start off living. Or I never come to visit again." Hayden said as she handed her dishes to the cook. "Oh and Teddi will be living with us." She added with a grin, "I know how much you HATE dogs. W should get Teddi a friend. A dog for you." Hayden walked up the stairs and slipped into the office. The internet was already up and she pulled up a website about interior designers. Once she found the company that had done her house she dialed the number and placed an appointment for tomorrow at 4:00. The work would go from 5:00-10:00. She slid down the stairs again and said, "Alright I have basically nothing to take care of. I've got people for that." Leaving was easy. It was everything else that was so damned hard. "Chase, yyou ddddon't have to do thattt...." Hayden said when Chase told her about the pool. He smiled. "GO CANCEL IT! IT COSTS MONEY!" She fake yelled at him. He cringed anyways. He didn’t like to be yelled at. He just shook his head. “We are getting a pool whether you like it or not. And I know it costs money- pools aren’t free and I have my foster parents’ credit card number- they will hardly notice that I took money out.” He said calmly.
"Picking up my stuff tomorrow and I'm gonna pay for a room designer to do my new room. Part of my rents and I’s deal was they give me 50 grand to start off living. Or I never come to visit again." Chase laughed. You are very demanding of them. "Oh and Teddi will be living with us." Hayden said with a grin, "I know how much you HATE dogs. W should get Teddi a friend. A dog for you." Chase thought about that. He would love for Teddi to live here and he had been thinking about getting himself a dog. “Maybe we could go and get a dog today? We have nothing to do unless you can think of something to do?” He suggested.
Hayden walked up the stairs and into the office. Chase watched as she sat down in front of the laptop and searched the internet. Chase turned his focus to what type of puppy he would want. Definitely one with high energy and loves to play. He didn’t want one that would sleep all day. Also one who would stay by Chase’s side and loyal. Chase pondered for a moment before choosing. He decided that he would specifically look at the kennel for a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. He liked the color of those dogs and their personality. One of Chase’s old friends had a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and he had adored the breed.
Hayden came back downstairs and said to Chase. "Alright I have basically nothing to take care of. I've got people for that." Chase smiled. “I’ve been thinking, I would like to get a dog and seeing we have nothing to do right now would you like to come with me?” He asked. He would like her to come but she didn’t have to if she didn’t want to. Anyways Chase could take the bus if she didn’t want to come.

A Miracle are those Little Things that Happen Every Day------------------------------------------------- “Maybe we could go and get a dog today? We have nothing to do unless you can think of something to do?” Chase said while Hayden surfed the web. "Sure." She replied, "Got a breed in mind?" Once she had the appointment set up for her room she came back downstairs and said, "Alright I have basically nothing to take care of. I've got people for that." Chase grinned and said, “I’ve been thinking, I would like to get a dog and seeing we have nothing to do right now would you like to come with me?” Hayden already grabbed her keys, "Let's go" She said half way out the door.
Hayden ducked into the car and pushed the key into the ignition. The car rumbled to life and Hayden pulled out of the driveway. They were silent for a little bit then Hayden asked, "Mind if we make a quick stop by my house. I wanna get in real clothes." Hayden contiued driving then her mind crossed to Teddi, "And maybe I can grab Teddi. I wanna see how she does with this new friend. I don't want you to get a dog that hates her or vice versa and have them fighting 24/7." Hayden pulled into her driveway and popped open the door. It was Saturday but her father still had work, his car was gone and so was her mother's.
"You can come if you want." Hayden said as she opened her door and pulled herself out of the car. The side door was open so Hayden let herself in. Annabel and Tyler were making out at the breakfast nook and both stood up in surprise when Chase and Hayden walked through the door. "Oh Tyler this is my sister Hayden and her boyfriend Chase." Annabel said with relief. Tyler gave us a little wave then continued to kiss Annabel. Hayden smiled back and jogged upstairs. "I'll be one second" She said to Chase as she opened her door. She closed it before he could wiggle his way in and laughed from inside. Suddenly her eyes moved to the bed where Markus's lay.
"Markus?" Hayden asked as she moved toward the bed. He jumped up but when his eyes landed on Hayden they took a look of sadness then disgust. Markus flopped back down onto the bed and mumbled, "Go away." Hayden sat on the bed beside him and placed her hand on his back, "Mom told you?" She guessed. Markus didn't respond which meant "yes". "I need to get ou-" Hayden started but Markus's crying cut her off. "You can't go Hayden. I need you here. I have no one to go to but you Hayden." He sobbed. Hayden pulled her brother close to her chest and let him cry. She rubbed his back and whispered, "Shhhh" in his ear in a calming way.
After a moment the crying died down and Hayden whispered, "If I could take you I would Mark. But your legally mom and dad's." Markus's face turned red and he shouted, "THEN DON'T GO! DON'T LEAVE ME!" Hayden's own face distorted with pain. She pulled Markus's closer to her again and said, "This is my chance Mark. I can get out. I need to take it." Markus cried. After a few more minutes he pulled back to look at her and asked, "Can I come visit?" Hayden cracked a grin and pushed him onto the bed, "What do you think you little turd?" Markus laughed and attacked Hayden again. They westled for a moment before Hayden grew serious again. "I'll come back here you'll come their. I can drive you to school. I can pick you up. You can hang with us on the weekends. He's a great guy Mark." She said
"How long have you known him?" Markus asked. Hayden's face grew red and she sheepishly admitted, "A day." Markus's face went a shade more pale then he began to laugh. "Stop that!" Hayden yelled as she pushed him off the bed. After some more laughing Markus climbed back onto the bed and said, "I wouldn't have guessed that. You guys are like...." He motioned locking his fingers together. Hayden laughed and mimicked his motion. Hayden punched her brother in the arm and he giggled. "Just promise you'll come back." He whispered. Hayden pushed Markus off her bed lead him to the door opened it pushed him out and just before slamming it she said, "Promise"
Hayden re-made her bed and slipped into dark wash skinny jeans. After applying a coat of eyeliner and pulling her hair over her shoulder Hayden walked back downstairs. "Let's go" She said to Chase as she walked out of the side entrance. She popped back into the car started up the engine and headed for the pound. ------------------------------------------------- But they Still Make you Smile until Your Face Hurts Description-Clickky hair in picture;make-up eyeliner Word Count- 828 Tags- Chase Parker Muse- uhhhh....I still like muse-y Other- I do it because I like to but thank you.
