Personality Description: Warrior is a frisky horse, full of energy and spunk. He is best for an experienced rider, as he likes to take off unexpectedly. This big boy can be rather playful, and enjoys running over all. He doesn't spook easily, though he has been known to spook others. Warrior has been known to get a bit nippy at times. He does not allow many strangers to get too close. Some might call him cheeky, but it's part of what makes up his spirited personality.
History: Westfall's Warrior was meant to be a trail horse. His original owners had easily gotten him to learn under saddle. However the horse was simply too frisky and would take off running whenever he wanted. He was not meant for anyone but an experienced rider. He simply had too much personality and energy for being a trail horse. The owners had thought of possibly offering him as a race horse. But he didn't listen well enough and was too unpredictable.
So instead at the young age of 4 years Warrior was put up for sale. It took only a few months for Izabelle to find the ad and fall in love with the young gelding. They got along quite well, almost like kindred spirits. She immediately bought him and since has been riding him as often as possible. He is still very frisky and independent, but he's learning to listen slowly. In fact Izabelle is even starting to teach him to jump with the help of a coach.
