History: Sassy was bought by her first owner as a young filly. She was meant to be a companion horse for her owner's stallion. They thought that she might help get him to calm down. But it didn't quite work, the stallion only got more stubborn and dominant. He would boss Sassy around all the time and they had even gotten into quite a few fights. Eventually the owner's had to separate the two horses.
But since she wasn't working as a companion horse, the owner's no longer wanted her. So Sassy was put up for auction and her owner's would only take the best amount they could get. Sophie bought the poor girl and not long after bringing her to Pinewood, found out that she was actually pregnant. Since then Sophie has been taking extra special care of her mare.
