Personality Description: For a stallion, Maxie is actually quite well behaved, that's one of the reasons Sebastian has let him stay a stallion, along with his amazing talent and impressive linage. Maxie passes along his good nature to his sons and daughters. Max loves Sebastian, but will let others ride him. He's an extremely talented dressage horse, but is showing promise over fences as well. Maxie has the worlds eyes on him as he begins his first year of professional competition, but Seb has confidence he will prove himself, and become a top contender.
History:
Maxie was destined to be a champion from the start. He was shipped here from Germany as a yearling, Sebastian picked him up at a high society warmblood sale in California and has had him ever since. He knew from the start that this colt had potential. Max has always had the watchful eye of the Hanoverian studbook on him, as they too could see that one day he'd be one of the top sire in America.
Sebastian didn't rush Maxie into training, he broke him to the saddle after three years of groundwork and Max took it all in stride. After a good three years of training and upper level showing, Maxie is ready to go National in Dressage and Eventing. He is a brilliant horse with a bright future. Maxie has sire two foals already, two beautiful fillies. Sebastian has him in serious training here at Pinewood, getting ready for the 2011 season which is fast approaching.
Discipline: Eventing/Dressage.
