Kate's eyes widened at his reaction and tried to subdue a loud laughter. "Easy cow girl, this ain't my first time at a rodeo but certainly that ain't happening any time soon." his reaction was so priceless!! She chuckled and her face got red as she blushed and rested her arms on his shoulders and gave him a gentle kiss, and thought of a clever way to really make him stand on edge. She looked at him and bit her lip, " Well Holten, you remember that time when you coaxed into the bed of your truck after my big win at the horse show...." she watched for his reaction and just laughed. " I'm just kidding, what kind of girl do you take me for Holten McCoy. I'm too much a lady to do something as unexpected as that before I get married," she said and gently kissed him and gently pressed into him. He knew her too well than to have kids before marriage. It just wasn't fair to the kids to have split lives. Two different birthdays, holidays, and not to mention the awkward dropping off and picking up in the local grocery store parking lot. She would never want that for a young child, and she knew that Holten wouldn't either.

" You two are bad kids. I told you not to jump into that pond,"she said softly. After hearing that Max walked over to her and shook with all his might and pond water splattered all over Kate. " Ugh Max," she moaned and then Rugar did the same thing and she frowned. Yep, they loved her alright. She looked at Holten and rolled her eyes. Could this day get any better?
