-- FULL NAME: Dakota James Scott
-- NICKNAMES: Kody
-- AGE: 21
-- BIRTH PLACE: New York City
-- ORIENTATION: heterosexual
-- OCCUPATION: Stunt riding/horse training
-- PLAYED BY: Scout Taylor-Compton-- PERSONALITY
-- STUBBORN: Dakota is just about as stubborn as they come. She has a tendency to never budge once her mind is made up and good luck to the person who tries to change it. She often doesn't think things through all that well, but refuses to listen to the voice of reason.
-- CRUDE: To put it lightly, Dakota's language is less than pristine. She doesn't care who's around and listening, she just says the first thing that comes into her head and usually that involves a good bit of swearing. She is very straight and to the point and doesn't ever beat around the bush, which has been cause for a number of people to dislike her.
-- TOUGH: Though she is small, she is a lot stronger physically and emotionally than she looks. Her attitude is that what doesn't kill her will only make her stronger and she has no concern about getting hurt. She doesn't typically enter into relationships because she tends to scare guys away before they can even get to that point.
-- LOVES: showing up the guys, armor, cold weather, history, working out
-- HATES: cheerleader type girls, froofy horses that spook at everything, people who can't ride, skinny jeans, guys with ponytails
-- HISTORY
She can remember quite well, the day her mom left. Her exact words were "Don't let anyone tell you that you can't, and if they try, you prove them wrong or walk away." Words she, unfortunately, lived by.
Her mom left when she was 13, apparently because her dad kept telling her she couldn't do things. Having inherited her mom's "spirited" personality, Kody set out to do whatever her dad told her she couldn't do. So when she asked for a pony and he said no, she went to the local riding stable and started working for lessons and he eventually had to give in and get her a pony of her own. When she wanted to start jumping and he said no, she did it anyway behind his back. When some horse movie was being filmed in town and they needed a riding double about her age and he said no, she forged his signature on the release and tried out anyway.
After that there was no going back. She started getting all sorts of riding jobs in films, whether for main characters or just as an extra in the background of an old western. She did it all, from medieval to westerns, to cheesy racing movies, to even cheesier jumping movies. None of the films were all that huge, meaning none of her "roles" were all that huge, but she liked to think she was going somewhere with this, and it paid well. At 20 she bought herself a horse, Mayhem, a Dutch Warmblood gelding to practice doing crazy things on, like falling off in the most unfortunate ways, and to ride when she was an extra or if they needed a horse like him to be in the movie. He was perfect for it. Spook-proof, fearless, and ready to jump off a cliff if she asked him to do it. She moved to Pinewood at 21 when a long drawn out movie she was doubling in was filmed there, and got so attached to the place that she decided to stay there permanently... at least for now.
