Below are the classes offered at the shows. Please pay close attention to the entry rules, we don't want to have to check up on every single entrant to make sure they're following it
`DRESSAGE You may only enter two dressage divisions.
Lead Line Dressage Test is simply for children to be exposed to showing and increase their confidence. Horses/ponies are lead by a parent or experienced rider at a walk. Enter at A, halt salute at X. Procede walk, track right at C. 20 meter circle at B. 20 meter circle at E. Cross the diagonal H X F. Come up the center line. X halt salute. To enter state name of rider, leader, and horse.
Level I Dressage Open Test requires basic knowledge of dressage, but no real knowledge of movements, rider is only asked to walk, trot, and canter. Basically for the beginners. (Intro – Training level)
Level II Dressage Open Test requires basic and semi-advanced knowledge of dressage. Rider is asked to walk, trot, canter, perform certain lateral movements and extend their gates. (1st – 3rd level)
Level III Dressage Open Test requires basic and advanced knowledge of dressage. Rider is asked to walk, trot, canter, extend and collect all three gates, and do certain lateral movements. (4th – Intermediare II)
Level IV Dressage Open Test is equivalent to the dressage Grand Prix test, extreme knowledge of basic and advanced dressage is required. Rider is asked to go through several difficult movements such as flying changes on every other or every two strides, canter pirouettes, passage, piaffe, extended walk, extended trot, extended canter and so on. No rider under 25 may enter this class. (Grand Prix)
`HUNTER DIVISONS You may only enter two Hunter Divisions.
Level I Hunters Open Hunters are to be judged on manners, performance, consistent pace over obstacles, way of going and soundness. Fences in this class do not exceed 2’9. (May cross enter with Level II Hunters. May not cross-enter with Jumper Classes)
Level II Hunters Open Hunters are to be judged on manners, performance, consistent pace over obstacles, way of going and soundness. Fences in this class range from 3’-3’6 and do not exceed 3’6.. (May cross-enter with Level III Hunters and Level I-II Jumpers)
Level III Hunters Open Hunters are to be judged on manners, performance, consistent pace over obstacles, way of going and soundness. Fences in this class range from 3’6-3’9 and do not exceed 3’9. (May cross-enter with Level III-IV Jumpers)
`JUMPER DIVISIONS You may only enter two Hunter Divisions.
Level I Jumpers Open Score determined by number of faults. In case of a tie, best time wins. Fences in this class do not exceed 3'6;. (May cross-enter with Level II Jumpers and Level II Hunters)
Level II Jumpers Open Score determined by number of faults. In case of a tie, best time wins. Fences in this class range from 3’3-3’9 and do not exceed 3’9. (May cross-enter with Level III Jumpers and Level II Hunters)
Level III Jumpers Open Score determined by number of faults. In case of a tie, best time wins. Fences in this class range from 3’6-3’9 and do not exceed 3’9. (May cross-enter with Level IV Jumpers and Level III Hunters)
Level IV Jumpers Open Score determined by number of faults. In case of a tie, best time wins. Fences in this class range from 3’9-4’3 and do not exceed 4’3. (May cross-enter with Level V Jumpers and Level III Hunters)
Level V Jumpers Open Score determined by number of faults. In case of a tie, best time wins. Fences in this class range from 4’9-5’3 spreads of certain jumps may be at least 6’3 wide. (May only cross-enter with Level IV Jumpers)
`WESTERN Barrel Racing Rider must complete a certain pattern around three barrels and get to the finish line the quickest. Anyone can do this.
Reining The rider must guide their horse through a complex pattern of circles, spins and stops. All done at lope and gallop, must know how to lope and gallop to enter.
Trail A typical trail course requires horse and rider to open and pass through a small gate while mounted; walk across a fake bridge; cross over a set of rails or logs at a walk, jog or lope; back up, often with a turn while backing; side-pass, often over a rail or log; turn on the forehand or hindquarters within a confined area; and tolerate some type of "spooky" obstacle, such as having the rider put on a vinyl raincoat. The horse is asked to perform all three gaits in the process of completing the course. Open to all competitors.
Western Pleasure Group class, competitors are required to walk, jog, and lope. Riders evaluated on the manners and calmness of the horse. Open to all competitors.
Individual Roping Competitor must rope and hog tie a calf in the shortest amount of time.
Team Roping A team of two, a 'header' and a 'heeler', one must rope the front of the steer while the other ropes the two back legs, a five second penalty is added to the time if only one leg is roped. To sign up, simply state the names of the team ropers and their horses.

Unfortunately, due to our ever persistent strive for realism on Pinewood, we have had to change the Show Classes. We hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience for you!
Cross-Entering: One horse and rider combination may only enter two Hunter Divisions and/or Two Jumper divisions. They must be corresponding (ie: Level II and Level III) But certain Hunters and certain Jumpers may not cross enter with each other. Pay attention to the italics!
**Dressage, Western and other flat classes MAY cross enter with over fences classes.
