-- FULL NAME: Allison Nicole Summers
-- NICKNAMES: N/A
-- AGE: 19
-- BIRTH PLACE: San Antonio, Tx
-- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
-- OCCUPATION: Western trainer, specializing in horse starting. She does give quite a few lessons as well
-- PLAYED BY: Nicole Fox-- PERSONALITY
-- SARCASTIC : Allison's humor is quite sarcastic at times and often offends people who don't know her well. Rest assured however that the majority of her sarcasm only falls to those she actually likes. Her teasing remarks will start softly at the beginning of a friendship, building until an observer would think she hates a person. Her sarcasm does take some getting used to however, her humor is often outlined with only a trace of amusement making many people think she is being quite serious. Many times Allison doesn't pick up that she doesn't change her tone and is unaware that people don't get her humor until their feelings are already quite hurt. Allison often finds humor at rather off times as well, using it to deal with stress.
-- SENSITIVE: Sure, she tries to be a hardass but everyone with a clue about her knows that she's a big softy underneath, not that she would ever admit it out loud. Allison can take a strangers insults, disrespect and other things against her person with little if any care in the world. If someone she value's expresses displeasure with her however it has the power to put her in tears rather easily. a simple meeting with a boss with the barest of things wrong is an extraordinary deal to her. Allison will suck it up and wait till a more appropriate time to break down but it is quite the hindrance at times.
-- SHY: Allison is an accidental introvert in a normal setting. The thought of actually going up and introducing herself is enough to put her in panic mode. Once she does actually get up the nerve to speak to someone Allison speaks rather quickly in an attempt to get what she needs to say out as quickly as possible. If someone talks to her, she is known to stumble for words and is a general wreck at times. Flirting? Forget it, Allison would sooner crawl in a hole and never come out than face the danger of flirting and being rejected. On the other hand Allison is able to do away with her debilitating shyness when selling a horse. Being around a horse gives her the confidence to act like a normal human. Allison has come out with a silly way to keep this shyness at bay, oftentimes she will carry a hoof pick with her in order to carry her confidence with her.
-- LOVES: Friska (Her mare), horse sales, the joy of a horse's first ride, drawing, the quiet excitement of a good book, singing and dancing in the comfort of her own home, reining, advancing her own knowledge, caffeine after a bad night's rest, and comfort food
-- HATES: rain, the cold, bad riding, ignorant people, social gatherings, surprises, how easily she is injured, hypocrites, back yard breeders, and people who can't take a hint
-- HISTORY
She grew up in a small neighborhood outside of Houston, TX, moving there shortly after her third birthday from San Antonio. She lived outside of Houston for the rest of her childhood and adolescence, staying there until she moved out. Her grandparents raised her since both her mother and father were out of the picture. Both were addicts that fancied themselves as recovering, the two were no longer together and both incompetent as parents. Allison has never even met her father to be exact. She does have a half brother she talks to occasionally although they have never been close since he was raised with his own father.
Allison had always had a passion for horses but her childhood was taken up with intense gymnastic practice and another hobby just wouldn't of fit in her schedule since practices were five times a week at three hours a practice. At twelve she has been out of gymnastics for a year and felt rather silly when she discovered a stable not a mile from her house. She began horse camp at the stables in the summer and the owners Lilith and Robert never could get away from her. Allison had caught the horse bug wholly and completely without a cure in sight.
She volunteered for a couple years before officially working for them, in sales. The barn was a horse trading business that had the occasional boarder and a few lessons. Allison took to sales like a fish in water and loved her job, finding it a great escape from her normal social awkwardness. She did find out she had a bone density problem after a couple years however. Almost every time she was bucked off she broke something, her collarbone and ribs, foot and ankle, a broken femur from a kick and a broken wrist from just slipping in the mud. These weren't her only breaks but it did cause enough suspicion for a dr visit. After her diagnosis she still worked at the barn, but was much more careful about test riding new horses and training ones that were already there.
She started her first horse at 14, her own mare, Friska. Friska was easily the most joyful horse to train that Allison has touched to date. The then late two year old filly soaked up the knowledge and seemed to starve for learning and attention. At only a month into her training Allison’s broken femur happened. She got quite a few months off and true to her quiet nature and good training rode off fine when Allison returned. She was a quiet filly and packed around beginners from early on in her riding career, even shortly after her extended vacation from Allison’s injury. While working for the barn Friska was a much adored lesson horse.
She still worked for the barn earlier this year when new management was hired, Lacey, marketing manager. Needless to say, the two did not get along, Lacey was a stuck up rich woman from california and didn't have a clue about horses. In the span of two weeks Ashley was put in a great deal of danger twice. After repeated talks nothing changed and Ashley quit.
After much soul searching and add reading Allison made her decision. She was moving far from Texas and the tarnished reputation of the stables she worked at. It took her a couple weeks to say her goodbye’s and pack all that she could fit in a dusty old ford and her three horse slant with living quarters. The trip here was rather uneventful minus a few miss turns and come minor cursing at her own directions off her phone. In other ways the move was stressful. She had enough savings to make it wherever for a while but this was unknown territory for her. She was leaving a business she knew like the back of her hand and was comfortable in her job for the thrill of something new. Who knew what these guys would expect. She was well versed in starting horses and was pretty good at giving lessons surprisingly but she was young and if people would take her seriously because of it was all up in the air.

A loud sneeze erupted from the barn, the force of it shaking the small, slender woman it came from and nearly knocking the hay from her arm. She was a little puffy eyed and her nose tinged with red and wrinkled as she wiped it with her other hand. Her short red hair was ruffled from the sneeze but fell back into place pretty easily. She took large steps with a purpose as she finished haying the boarder’s horses. At first glance she appeared irritated, a crease between her brows and a slight frown on her face.
The small woman, no taller than 5’2 walked down the barn on a mission, what it was yet was a mystery but as she walked her frown got a bit bigger. She took a black rope halter and walked back toward the stalls, her boots making a clunk or squish sound depending if she trudged through mud or found a dry spot to walk on. She found her intended horse quickly, the bay trotting up and into the stall before waiting.
“Back up my fatapotamous. Back.” The woman uttered quietly in a much softer voice than one would expect. A hint of a smile shining in her blue eyes at the nickname the mare carried. The mare quietly backed a few steps as the woman entered her stall and haltered her before leading her out. The mare, which was easily seen now was quite stocky and a few hairs shorter than 15 hands. The redhead shut and latched her stall and led her back to the front, catching the sight of the truck her lesson drove.
The woman took off her jacket as she walked, revealing a blue polo with a name tag reading Allison on it. Allison tied her mare up to a tree leaving her with a few words, “Ok Friska, time to teach some kids today. I know you’ll be a good girl and a patient teacher. Wait here till they’re ready.”
Allison walked off toward the truck to greet her lesson group, the mare, Friska waiting in the background to do her job.
