Mel listened to Jason but couldn't believe his words. But after a moment she remembered it all like a bad nightmare. The hate in Vik's eyes. The grip she had on her. She looked around in shock. She seen Aero. She never thought Vik would have done what she did but she had. Everything turned into a slowly motion daze. The ambulance came. He told her that they were gonna take her to the hospital. That he would be there as soon as he could. She watched him walked away with the horses. As they strapped her onto the bed it was like she snapped. Her body was under so much stress and her mind didn't want to believe what had just happened. She tried to fight them. She screamed for Jason. So they sedated her.
She was unable to move, but she could see and feel everything. They stopped the contractions but she was to stay at the hospital a few days so the doctor could keep an eye in her in the baby. Mel layed in the bed scared as hell. They doctors hadn't told her a thing and Jason haded come again. She had flash backs of her grandfather coming at her. Vik had woken it all back to her mind. Thought her grandfather had stop drinking when she got out of school. He use to beat the crap out of her. She had done so much to block the memories from her mind.
The meds they put her on easy the pain of her head, but they screwed with her head a bit. At one point the nurses had to sedated her again so she go to sleep. She had screamed because she felt someone choking her again. So now she layed in the hospital bed looking asleep but in her sleep her brain was filled with a horrid nightmare.

He got there and they asked a shit load of questions about what he was to her and he told them they were enaged, that way they would have to let him in. He walked to her room and he stepped in. She was asleep so he paused a moment. Everything must of been ok she was just traumatized. His phone vibrated. He wasn't going to answer but it wasn't the dumb obsessed chick this time. It was his mom.
He said hello and his mom went off about how that girl kept calling the house phone and came over and tortured his poor dad and followed him around the ranch and was talking to all the ranchhands. He rolled his eyes. "Umm ya, One of these few days I will go take her to court and get a restraining order.. but I need to take care of my girlfriend for a couple days." He said, remembering he never told his mom. She was excited and he could jsut imagine her jumping up and down clapping her hands. "Jason! How long?? You best bring her around!" She said. He chuckled a little. "I will, and only a day now. But I need to go. Love you. Talk to you later." He said and hung up after she said bye.
He stepped into teh room and walked over to her bed. He took her hand and kissed the top of it. He moved her hair from her face and sighed. He sat there a moment then started to wake her up a bit, so he could finish explaining what that dumb bi.tch did to her. He watched her and felt his phone vibrate again.. it was that obsessed girl agian so he hung up on her and shut his phone off.

Mel was lost in the nightmare's that flashed in her mind. She was well beyond traumatized at this point. They sedated her and she was slowly coming too. She could hear the things around her faintly at first. She hear people talking. After a while she would drift back into her own little world. She was coming too again as Jason stood in the doorway. She could hear his voice but didn't know it was him at this point. She wasn't all there just yet. She felt someone grab her hand and kiss it, but she wasn't for sure if it was really happening. She felt someone something brush her face and something shake her slightly. Her eyes shot open and she screamed. 'Get away from me! Don't touch me! Her eyes where still blurry and unable to focus. All she could see was a blurred figure. She instantly thought it was Vik coming back to finish her off.
She didn't know were she was. She was scared to death. She screamed again and swung at the figure. Tears streamed down her cheek. She was fearing for her life. She felt like her throat was tightening again; like someone was choking her again. A image of Vik staring at her flashed into her mind. A anger burned in Vik's eyes. She balled up trying to hide herself from the figure. Her hands protecting her throat as the choking feeling left. She was a mess and crying at this point. 'Your hurt me. How could you hurt me, Vick. Why couldn't you understand. Why did you have to hurt me.' Her voice was shaky. Then her head started aching again. The pain meds wearing off.
She grabbed her head as the pain quickly set in fully. She screamed out again. After a moment is essayed up a bit. Her vision cleared and she realized she was in a hospital room. She couldn't remember fully why she was here. She still couldn't see Jason was there because she was facing away from him. She balled up more and felt the bump of her stomach. Her mind suddenly remember she was pregnant. She remember Jason. She didn't understand why he wasn't here. She spoke openly into the room not realizing Jason was there. 'Where are you Jason? Why aren't you here? Her voice was still shaky, for she was still crying, but it was soft and a tad calmer. She felt lost. She couldn't understand why she was here or where Jason was.
All she could think was something bad had happened and Jason was hurt. 'Please come back to me. I need you. Jason where are you? Her thought coming aloud without her really realizing it. She closed her eyes and just cried.

Jason had come in to see Mel. He kissed her hand and moved her hair from her face. She freaked out and he stepped back letting her do so. She had rolled around and then she accused him o being Vik and asked a few questions on why she had hurt her. Then finally she asked why Jason wasn't there. He touched her hsoulder."Honey, it's me Jason." He said to her.
"Vik ain't here. Just me, Jason. So calm down please." He said using his accent so she could here that it was him. He watched her hoping to get her to turn around and atleast face him. He looked arond her room. "Vik tried o kill you. You are gonna be alright though." He said and sighed. He walked away from the bed and sat down on the chair next to the bed. He turned on his phone and got on the internet.
He waited for a doctor to come in and explain waht was happening to her and why she was acting this way. He looked around on his phone about just everything. He was just bored and waiting for her to be calm and normal. He ignored the girls phone calls as well and her texts. Tomorrow he would definitely change his number. When Mel was back to normal he was going to take her to his parents and get this restraining order done.

Mel layed there crying. Then somone touched her shoulder. She heard a male voice. She layed there very still as she listened to them. After a moment she heard accent. She smiled and turned around. 'Jason! I'm so glad your here. I was scared you weren't going to come. And I hope I never see Vik again.' Her voice was still a little shaky. She watched him sigh and walk over to the chair near the bed. For now she was calm and ok. Her head still felt like someone was contestly hit it. It must have been a hard fall when Vik throw her to the ground. She hung her hand over the side of the bed in hopes Jason would move closer to her. So she drifted back to sleep.
After a while the doctor walked in. He checked everything and turn to Jason. 'She's going to be fine, sir. But the blow to her head has caused her brain to swell a little. And The acttack has seemed to have traumatized her greatly. She has acttack two of the nurses in fear. I would like to keep her here over night and most of tomorrow to keep an eye on her.' The doctor looked to Mel a smile on his face. 'She's lucky to have someone to be here for her. It must have been bad for her. But she should be fine. If you have any question you can ask one of her nurses. One should be in shortly to check on her and probably give her more pain medication. The doctor turned and walked out of the room.
Not long after the doctor left a nurse came in. Mel was still asleep. 'Good afternoon.' The nurse smiled to Jason. She walked over to Mel and checked her IV. She gave her more pain meds. She looked over to Jason. She seems to finally is sleeping good. She was throwing a fit when she first go her. Poor girl. What happened to her? She stood and waited for him to answer her.

"Of course I would come, honey." He told her and scooted the chair closer and rested his cheek on her hadn so he could play on his phone as she slept. He looked up adn heard teh doctor He nodded and smiled a little at his reply about how lucky she was to have him here. "Ya well, I try. I shoulda been here earlier but I had three horses to put away after the fall.. and Ya she was all freaked out when the ambulance came too."He said then nodded. "OK thanks Doc." He said.
He looked up to finally see a nurse. The nurse looked at him. He smiled wondering if the nurse was trying to hit on him or something. He chuckled a little to himself at that thought. Usually the nurses did when he was in the hospital. "Ya, she was throwing a fit when the ambulance came too. Umm, she got strangled and pushed down real hard by a she-man. But I took care of that she-man, called teh ambulance because she was knocked out. Took her a while to come back to after my CPR and throwing cold water on her." He said watching the nurse, watching to see if she was going to flirt with him.
It just made him chuckle when nurses flirted. He really didn't have to do anything to get them to flirt. All he had to do was come in all rugged looking and sit there and they would just flirt away. He wondered if this one was going to or not. He looked at his phone then kissed Mel's hand gently. He tipped his hat up a little bit. He hoped she could come home tomorrow. She would do better without all the random people coming in and out of the room.

The nurse shook her head as she listened to Jason. She looked to Mel again. She turned back as Jason kissed Mel's hand and tipped his hat. A heart warming smile formed on her lips. She's lucky to have a man like you. The women looked to Mel her eyes tracing to Mel's stomach. She's lucky the baby's ok. She was having contractions when she came in but we got them stopped. She only maybe two months. The nurse looked back to Jason. Are you the father? If so be a good father and not like most of these boys I've seen come in girls. There around for a little while but before the baby is born their gone. She sighed.
The nurse's beeper went off. She shook her head. I have to go, but if she needs anything come get me. My name is Jessica. I'll be here until around eight tomorrow morning. And she'll be fine. She just needs some rest. The nurse turned and walked out of the room. After a few moments Mel moved. She yawned and opened her eyes. She looked over to Jason. She smiled.
The pain in her head had eased off. 'I wanna go home. She looked at him and watched him for a moment. 'You saved me didn't you? And why was Scream laying next to me? Last I remember he was standing behind Aero. She looked at him. She could only still remember bits and pieces of what had happen. And she clearly remember seeing Scream laying next her.

He smiled a little as he nodded. "Well thanks. And ya I am the father. I'm not like alot of guys. I must say though I did kinda disappear for a month but that was before I knew about the baby. I got real busy last month...."He said and looked back to Mel.
The nurse walked out after saying she had to go and what not. He was surprised there was no flirting. He shrugged and looked at his phone for a moment. 'I wanna go home. ...'You saved me didn't you? And why was Scream laying next to me? Last I remember he was standing behind Aero. He looked at her and gave her a small smile. "Well, I pulled her off of you and punched her in the stomach. Told her a few good words. Scream stood between us ready to eat Vik alive and she left cackling like a witch seeing you not moving and left." He said exaggerating a little with his story..
"But you are fine now that's all that matters." He said and stood up and kissed her forehead gently. He linked fingers with hers. "Tomorrow afternoon or evening I'm sure you can leave here. But heads up, I am gonna leave tonight and sleep in my bed to get some much needed rest and take care of the dogs.. and feed horse in the morning. Is tht alright with you?"He asked making sure she was going to feel comfortable about it. "And if I go, you can call me anytime and I will come right over if your scared or need me." he told her.

She listened to Jason as he spoke. She laughed gently as he told her Scream stood in front of them ready to eat Vik alive. 'Scream has always be protective over me. I'm surprised he let you get so close to me so quick. He's my good Boy. I wouldn't trade him fro the world.' She remember when Vik first came around Scream pinned his ear back at her tried to bite her. Guess she should have listened to his warning. He'd never really liked her.
He told her she was fine and that was all that mattered. He stood and kissed her forehead as he linked there fingers together. She smiled up at him. He also told her she probably could go home sometime tomorrow, but that he would probably leave soon. Her smile faded. She tightened her grip on his hand. She understood he needed to but she was scared. She didn't want to be alone in this room. She half smiled as he told her she could call him at anything and he be right back her. She tried to hide the fact she was scared but you could see it clear in her brown eyes.
'That's fine. Give Summer and Scream so love from me. She looked down at her hand in his. She didn't wanna lose him again. She had grown so found of him so quick. She thought she maybe even loved him. Suddenly found herself throwing her arms around his neck. She tightly hugged him. She felt safe with him. He made her happy. She didn't want to lose him and she didn't want to have to raise this child on her own.
