HE GOES HOME TO A BATTLEFIELD
AND STARTS TO DRINK AS SOME KIND OF A SHIELD
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'2" & 182 lbs.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Rippling muscles decorate Wesley's body in a delecitable way. Saying that he was in good shape was an understatement. Wesley was in prime condition. For two years he spent every waking moment to make sure that he was in perfect health and condition, preparing himself for anything that could get thrown at him in the field. He ranked number one in his unit... definitely what you would call an over achiever... but the last thing he wanted was to get winded in pursuit of someone... or worse. He wasn't overly muscular in a gross body builder way but just perfect.
A beautiful light brown tan covered his skin due to so much time running on the beach... and so much time in the field. Another side effect from that was his highlighted looking hair. Typically his hair was brown but after so much time in the sun it became more of a dirty dirty blonde. Put all that together and add blue eyes and you've got every girls dream. His style typically consisted of jeans and a t-shirt. Nothing special he wasn't one to go out and party or try to impress... he wasn't famous and only owned one suit other then his two marine get ups. His version of dressed up was a button up shirt with jeans... with maybe a pair of sunglasses depending on the time of day. Outwardly, his appearance made him seem simple...
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: His quirky boyish smirk.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Removed from reality, Wesley's shy, reserved, and quiet. Inside he's angry and frustrated... But he burries it down deep. Unwilling to let the rest of the world see who he really is... how he really can be. He's afraid of letting emotion's out for fear that they might control him. He feels week and exausted most of the time from constantly supressing the way he feels. But being trained to ignore emotional responses he knows it wouldn't be right to express himself in a normal manor. In the Marines you just don't go around talking about how you feel... in fact he was trained when he was struggling with emotions you go to the shooting range and get it out... or hit the gym and work out until you feel like passing out...
To the rest of the world he was an easy going guy... just a little on the quiet side... but for those who knew that he's a Marine it was understandable. For everyone else... they just preceived it as him being shy. I guess after everything he'd been through thats what he had become... Shy. He was a normal guy in the eyes of the world. He went out... not exactly the type of guy who partied till dawn or anything of that but he knew his way around a bar. He was a great listener and typically gave great advice... but like anyone who gives great advice he couldn't take it. He was well aware of what he did wrong and the ways to fix it... but his typical excuse was... "you don't understand" or "It's different for me."
Though he was a great listener... Wesley hardly gave anyone the opportunity to get to know him. He didn't like talking about himself... he kept his private life just that, private. He didn't want anyone nosing into his business or feeling bad for him or trying to help. If he wanted help he would ask for it... he didn't want it. He was doing just fine on his own. So he thought anyways. He didn't think there was anything wrong with secluding his life from the rest of the world... He lived three lives... His private at home life, Life in the Marines, and his life out in the world. If you ask me thats... two too many for one man to try and handle.

OVERALL HISTORY:
The Grim family was you're normal family. They had their issues as all families do... but all and all everyone got along and they were happy. Lillian & Jeremy were archeologist and often moved about to whatever site they were assigned to work at. When Wesley and Samantha were born they just brought them along. It was hard at times but what family life didn't hit its bumps. When Wesley and Sam were about 5 they moved on sit to a dig in Congo. Typically they were allowed to wonder all over the site they were located at. The rest of the archeological team knew them well... they were practically aunts and uncles to Wes and Sam. It was about a year after they were located to Congo when it all went south for Wesley and Samantha.
They were all roaming around the dig sight... being a family... bonding... playing. The rocks began to slide and before anyone had time to think it was over. Lillian and Jeremy were gone... and Sam & Wesley had no where to go... the only family they had was a long lost aunt that they had never met. Wesley was 6 years old when he lost both his parents.. after dealing with the grief... it didn't take long before he became protective over his sister. They were emerged into "normal" life. School, a house instead of a tent, paved streets and sidewalks. It was a whole other world, they were all they had left and he wasn't about to abandon her... or so he thought.
At 17 years old all that was in the past, he was a junior in high school and completely head over heals for Lauren. Something he never pictured happening. He and Sam had grown apart but were still relatively close... they viewed things differently. Wesley had become a gutsy dare devil hanging out with the kids that jumped off bridges into the river and other such wreckless things. Thats where he met Lauren... he couldn't describe how he felt about her there were no words. When he was with her he was the happiest man alive... and when they were apart she was all he thought about. They had they're whole life planned out... they were completely supportive of eachothers dreams and desires and promised to never hold the other one back from what they wanted... it was Wesley's own fairytale.
After they graduated they got married, they saw no point in waiting. Plus she wanted to go with him when he joined the Marines. He still had supressed anger for his parents death... and despite the fact that he could have become an esteemed archeologist or any scientist for that matter he wanted revenge for what had happened to them. If you asked though he would deny that reasoning. Lauren on the other hand was into horseback riding... a passion that was instilled into her by her father. She was so much more patient that he was and that was one of the many reasons he loved her so much.
Not long after they were married did she get pregnant... and not long after Jack was born Wesley was shipped off to Iraq. Being away from his family was difficult for him and for Lauren but she understood and though she worried she still supported him 100% something that would never change. After almost three years away from home, Wesley finally returned... Unfortunately not but a couple of months after coming home was Lauren murdered... Now it was just him and Jack... and Alan... Wesley's life was such a tangled mess... and it only seemed to be getting worse with time.
