One Way Vendetta
Owner Name: Sydney Virginia Wolfe
Owner Age: 24
Owner Occupation: Professional Eventer & Primary English Horse Trainer(?)
Other Horses? Inexplicable Injustice & Chaotic Zodiac
---------------------------------------------------------
Registered name: One Way Vendetta
Barn Name: Oni (Japanese for devil)
Breed: Trakehner
Color: Paint (Medicine Hat)
Age: 7
Gender: Mare
Height: 16.2hh
Personality Description: Oni might look like a nice lass, she most definitely isn't. If Sydney had to choose which of her horses is the most difficult,it'd be Oni without a doubt. She's a bit of bitch, if one may be so direct. Oni tends to challenge everyone, and if possible as loud and obvious as possible. Bucking, rearing and biting are no rare views with this horse. While tacking her up or transporting her might not be such a disaster, just walking around with her if she's already tacked up is. In between the being tacked up and the being in the ring, she's a true hellcat trying to breakanything loose. Once in the ring and put in her place by an expert rider she's a pretty good ride though.
If she sets her mind to it, she's a dream to ride and a true performer. No jump too high, no ditch too broad, nothing too scary. Because a couple of her most prominent traits are that she's stubborn, smart, merciless and feisty. All in all a hand full but sure worth the trouble.
History: Bred in someones backyard, even though it was a big and good backyard, One Way Vendetta had the heritage to become a great showhorse, but also a father who was already known as a pain in the ass. His daughter proved to be take after him in both ways. She was spoiled and pampered in every way possible, which didn't improve the character flaws she already had.
At age three she was broken in and trained to be a hunter. She proved to excel in the ring, but unfortunately, her ground manners were bad. That bad, even, that she soon was no longer worth the trouble of getting her and her rider safely in the ring. That's when she was sold to a renowned showjumper, who thought she had the power and the guts to become a nice showjumper. As the man was a stern and strict rider, she fared well for quite some time, but when she threw him off and broke his leg with that, he lost his appetite for her and sold her.
In a year time she was sold another four times, each time for less money and to less loving owners, until she was a severely distrusting danger on four legs as she was led into the auction. And that was when Sydney V. Wolfe bought the suspicious mare. In the two years that followed, she was retrained, though her personality didn't quite change. She learned to behave in the ring, act as she was asked, but she never got the hang of 'being a sweet girl'; she's still a hellcat.
Discipline: Thee-day-eventer, dressage, showjumping & cross country, used to be a Show Hunter in the beginning.
Anything else?
This is a horse to handle with care, only if you're adult and experienced.
