HE'S DISAPPOINTED AND OFF TO BED
HAIR: medium length light brown
EYES: blue-grey
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'1" & 105
Physical description: Jacquelyn isn't exactly your average girl as far as appearance goes. She is typically found wearing rather old jeans and a "wife beater" tank top or t-shirt and occasionally a light jacket over top. Her footwear generally consists of battered converse or tennis shoes. Her hair is almost always up in a ponytail though on occasion she will leave it down. She is almost never found without a tiny circular locket around her neck, and God help you if you should ask about it.
She is definitely below average as far as height goes, considering she is only 5'1." Her build is definitely petite, but she is deceptively strong for how tiny she is. Her hair is average length and has a natural wave/curl to it which she hates. It is also quite thick and impossible to do anything with. Her skin is fairly pale and she doesn't wear much makeup, if any. She is usually scowling at anyone and everyone she sees, an unpleasant look which has come to push people away. She has several scars across her body from an abusive boyfriend and some fights in prison, but is otherwise unmarked.

DISLIKES: cops, rich people, those in the horse business only for the money, men
STRENGTHS: self-defense, determination, guilting people
WEAKNESSES: horrible temper, patience, judges books by their cover
HABITS/QUIRKS: jumps to conclusions, scowls constantly
OVERALL PERSONALITY: Jacq started out as a very nice young girl. She got along with everyone, found it easy to make friends, all that jazz. That, however, was before she lost her innocent view of mankind and realized just how horrible and evil people were. She changed quickly, practically overnight when she came to this realization. She became bitter and easy to provoke. She was defensive and cold, unpleasant and judgmental. It was almost as if someone had flipped a switch and out came the evil twin, shoving the good twin into the closet.
After running away she lost her trust in essentially all humanity, especially wealthy people. She pushed away anyone who showed even a hint of kindness towards her, afraid that they only did it because they wanted something in return. As she pushed good people away she drew closer and closer to the people who would only influence her negatively, and they did. She developed a hate for the law and all those who sought to uphold it, and did a lot of things she wasn't proud of just to thwart them. In short, she became a very angry child.
The older she got and the further into crime she got the worse she became. She stopped trusting people altogether after an abusive relationship reached the point that she feared for her life. When she went to prison things only got worse. There she was fighting for her life literally every day and she couldn't help but become more and more bitter. By the time she got out, she hated just about everyone she laid eyes on without knowing a single thing about them. She became known for her temper and people avoided her just about at all costs.

SHE'S ASKING A QUESTION HOW WILL I BE
WHEN THIS NEXT ONE EVENTUALLY LEAVES ME?
SIBLINGS: none
OTHER FAMILY: George, foster father
PETS: Toby
OVERALL HISTORY: Jacq never knew her parents as she was abandoned shortly after being born. All that anyone knew about her was that the name she had been given was Jacquelyn Noelle Daniels. They never found her parents after she was abandoned. She went through the system of unwanted children, one foster home to the next until she was placed in a more permanent foster home. He was really unkind and didn't treat her or any of the other kids well at all. When she was 15 he tried to take advantage of her sexually so she ran away and never went back. That was when she got in with the wrong crowd. She started stealing cars for the guys at the chop shop to make a little money, and before long was making a "career" out of it until she got caught two years later and spent the next three years in jail.
When she got out, she was naturally bitter and hardened, and wanted nothing to do with anyone. She was at a racetrack watching a few cheap claiming races, trying to make a little money on the bets when one three year old who was losing by nearly 14 lengths and was being beaten around the track took a bad step and went down, breaking his right front leg. For some reason it really hit her seeing that, and as they loaded him up onto the equine ambulance, she followed them. It was taken to the animal hospital where they would decide. She overheard the vet telling the owner that there was an "experimental surgery" they could try to fix the leg, but the owner would have to pay $5,000 to cover a few basic costs.
Clearly they had no interest in trying to save the horse, and told the vet to just put him down. When they came out into the waiting room, she didn't know why or what overcame her, but she walked right up to the owner and practically begged him to let her buy the horse from him. His response was "he's yours for $5." of course expecting that the horse would only be put down and he might as well humor this little girl. She gave him the $5 and ran back to stop the vet from putting him down. She said she didn't have the money now but she'd get it and she'd pay for the surgery. Sympathetic, the vet agreed to let her make payments and the surgery was gone through with.
The horse spent a lot of time at the vet afterwards to recover and after months of rehab the vet said he could go home, but she should know that he would probably never be sound again and would most definitely never race again, but she was downright determined to prove him wrong. Why she was suddenly so into this was beyond her, since she'd never been into horses at all before, but for some reason that big black colt who had never placed better than last in all 5 of his races had found his way into her heart and she was going to fix him if it was the last thing she did. She got a job bar tending, and was barely making enough money to make payments for the surgery and his board at the stable, so there was not a penny spent on herself... housing included. The black horse, conveniently enough for her, named Vindicated, was all that mattered to her, and if paying for his vet bill and board meant she didn't get a roof over her head, then so be it.
