---------------------------------------------------------
Registered name: No Vacancy
Barn Name: Van
Breed: Thoroughbred
Color: Bay
Age: 5 years
Gender: Gelding
Height: 16.2 Hands
Personality Description: Van is a very sweet laid back natured gelding. A two year old could lead him around the pasture he's not a biter or a kicker the worst he'll ever do is lick you to death. He loves to eat and if it were up to him he'd be out in pasture for the rest of his life as a yard ornament. He's not easily spooked on the lead line he stands and is very patient on the ground. But once he has a rider on his back he become a completely different horse... He's still well mannered but tends to be a lot stronger and harder to control he'll stamp his feet impatiently and snort up a storm. He'll constantly pull at your arms and turn them into spaghetti by the time you're finished riding. He needs a very firm hand when being ridden but is a perfect gentleman on the ground.
History: Van came from a racing farm in Florida was started at the "thoroughbred official birthday date" and pushed to his limits. Being that he wasn't born near January he was still a one year old when he was started and wasn't as strong as he could have been. He wasn't abused to the point of damage or breakdown... he was too stubborn for them he'd run spiratically they couldn't keep him in a straight line long enough to get a good time on him so it wasn't long before he was shipped off to the auction house by age 3... pretty as can be and with a bad attitude... but you'd never know it from the ground.
At the auction he was bought by a physical therapy ranch that had a knack for taking in damaged horses and damaged people putting them in a round pin together and bringing them out good as new. After a year he was ready for a permanent home, thats when the Kings' came into play. Ella, Vivian's mom, liked to find unique horses to turn into champions... in this case though she was looking for the perfect match for Vivian. When she found Van she instantly fell in love with him and just had to take him home. One year of training with the Kings' and their trainer and he was well on his way to being professional. He still has his quirks and kinks that need to be worked out but Vivian's the only one stubborn enough to match his temperment.
Discipline: Eventing
Anything else? Uhm... nope
