You can tell me all your thoughts About the stars that fill polluted skies
She needed a break from the barn for a second. Freddy was being his usual jerky self, and she needed some air. She moved through the park, adorned all in her Batman attire, and she knew she'd get a few weird looks about all the dorky clothing she had on, from her shirt, to the bat symbol belt buckle and her batman and joker rings on each hand, this wasn't an outfit she wore a lot, but when the spirit hit her, she went all out. She got her Batman love from her father, and it had been with her all her life. She didn't collect comics or anything, but she read any graphic novel she could get her hands on, and even owned a few of them.
She had her hair up, and she kept her eyes up enough to see where she was going. She was surprised she could actually find the park, her sense of direction wasn't what it could be most of the time. She just wanted a quiet place to read, and unwind from the stress of owning a jerk of a Gelding.
She finally got past the crowds and she saw a pond with a lone bench a few yards off. She walked towards it, and she dropped her purse[which also was batman themed] to the place beside her, and she pulled her legs into an crossed, Indian style of sitting. She then opened her purse and pulled out the third installment to the Harry Potter series; the Prisoner of Azkaban. Harry Potter was another guilty pleasure of hers, and this book had always been her favorite.
She glanced up occasionally to look at the ducks and she could see a mother duck swimming with her ducklings and it made her happy. She could also see a Swan pair swimming together and it made her feel lonely a bit, she knew swans mated for life, and it made her wonder if there were ever any chance of her letting someone else in, even enough to be just a close friend. She would find out sometime, she guessed.
And show me where you run to, When no one's left to take your side
