Jason checked inside the stalls in the barn of his three horses he had as of right now. His little blue roan filly, his palomino mare, and his black paint stud. He had just finished feeding them and he was making sure they were feeling alright before he went home. They were all he had at the moment to keep him going. He couldn't afford to lose them. They were his only source of money right now. It was just to risky to have them sick. He had ridden them all too today pretty hard so he didn't want colic. He did cool them down, but it didn't hurt to make sure.
Once they seemed okay and were eating quietly without any signs of sickness. He walked out of the barn and to his chevy duramax. It was red, it was jacked up a little, had some big tires, and was loud as hell. He stepped in and shut teh door and started it up. His truck roared to life and he shifted it into reverse and pulled out. Then shifted it into drive and drove out to the road and to his small trailer home. He didn't live far so it took like five minutes to get there. He parked and got out, locking his truck. He walked into his house and unlocked his front door, letting out Sadie, his blue heeler. He smiled seeing her go straight out to go do her business. He smiled and left teh door open a little for her to come back in.
He looked through his bills once more for the day. He really needed to win some money this coming weekend so he could get bills paid. He sighed and took his straw cowboy hat off and set it on his hat rack. He rubbed his face and felt like he needed to shave, but he wouldn't til tomorrow. He stepped to the fridge and grabbed a cold beer and took it out on the front porch watching Sadie as she ran around. He opened his beer and took a big gulp. He took out a ciggarette from his pack in his shirt pocket and lit it up with teh lighter from his pants pocket. He took a long drag. "Sadie, what will we do to keep things going?" He asked her as she sat down next to his feet. He leaned down and patted her head, taking another drag of his smoke, looking out at the distance.
Well Sadie, let's go into town and get some grubl." He said putting out his cigarette and walking inside his house. He grabbed his keys and wallet. He drank the rest of his beer and put the can in the garbage. He shut and locked his front door, then walked down the porch steps. He plodded along to his truck and opened the tailgate. "Up." He told Sadie. Sadie jumped up and he shut the tailgate. "Good girl." He told her rubbing her head. He walked to the drivers side door and opened it. He got in and turned his truck on. The big black dodge roared to life. He smiled to himself before pulling out and going to the diner.
He pulled up, he got out and locked his doors. "Sadie stay here. I will bring you out some food." He said petting her again and walked inside the diner. He was sat down and given a menu. He looked through it. When the waitress came back he ordered and sipped at his pepsi. He looked around the diner, not alot of people around. Maybe this place was just a boring place.. he wasn't for sure. He would give it a few weeks before he decided to move again.

& ` she's pretty as a field of daisies , sweeter than a watermelon wine. [/size] erica casually pulled on her skinney jeans and fastened them. they fit snuggly all-around her, just the way she liked them. slowly, she drug her feet across her carpeted floor towards her mirror and gazed at herself to see if she looked alright. she was not concieted, but she always looked fine and she knew it. that's why she felt good about herself and did well, 'cause she thought like that- happy equals good.
being in a pleasant mood, the young woman had decided to treat herself to dinner, instead of creating havoc in her kitchen. searching through her closet, erica had not found the shirt she wanted to wear. so with a quick thought, she bolted out of her room, down the stairs, around the corner, and down some more stairs to the basement where the laundry room was. her dog sexii & chrome racing her the whole way. her old baby- Tank the rottie, sadly passed away to a snake bite. she was sad, but it didn't stop her. his body was cremated and sits on a shelf by his bed. "sexii ! you should not be runnin' ! yo fat tale might fall and i will laugh." erica teased towards the dog, as she raced across the spacious basement and teased chrome.
shuffleing through a pile of clean linens, the girl had found the shirt she wanted- a black one with a giant star that wrapped around the side. with a small smile, erica slipped it on and exited the room.
dogs still beating each other up, erica just watched them for a moment before shouting, 'outside !' and running towards the door. both dogs followed close behind, and flew by when the door was open. soon, it was quickly shut behind them. erica took a breath, than walked back upstairs to her room. erica than shuffled through her small collection of shoes, and grabbed a simple pair of fuzzy slippers. she wasn't trying to impress anyone, and she did NOT care who looked. if she was comfy, she was happy.
make-up done : simply eyeliner and mascara, hair up in a pony-tail, erica plodded downstairs once more, purse in hand. making a list, she checked off everything she had to do still. one was bring the dogs in. so she opened the back door, and two pitbulls came racing in and towards the water bowl. "i'll be back ina lil' while. don't chew anythin' up or your ass is mine. k?" saying that, erica got her purse and left.
opening the black mustangs car door, erica hopped in. it was one of the new 'stangs and she was happy to own one. her truck sat lonely in the garage. backing out of her driveway, erica was a speed-demon going down the road. squealing tires on corners, flying down straight aways, and the cars engine only hummed. erica carefully drove as she turned up the radio though. she put in a colt ford c.d. and sang along 'till she got to the diner. which wasn't very long.
pulling up & getting out, erica switched off the engine, climbed out, and locked her doors. after a quick glance around, erica headed inside. a nice waitress happily led her to an empty table. it was behind a guy that seemed familier, but she couldn't place her finger on it. whoever he was, he was country and she knew it. after settling down at the table, erica order a sweet-tea as she looked over the menu. Jason looked over seeing a waitress walking a beautiful young lady to the table behind him. He gave her a small smile and sat deeper in the seat. He looked around the place and took out his phone. He started texting some old buddies of his he use to rodeo with. He was having a hard time concentrating on texting though when he could simply smell female behind him. Oh, how he hated when a girl smelt so good he wanted to just kiss her and take her home. Girls just had a way of doing that. Somedays he wondered if they did it on purpose..to purposely make a man go crazy.
Eventually he got his food and started eating. He was eating slowly though, because his little head, and another head were thinking about something totally different then just eatin food. Okay, ya he had to control himself or he was gonna leave the diner with a boner, and that wouldn't be good. He finally just quit breathing from his nose and ate. He was trying to ignore her, but was failing miserably. Soon enough he couldn't eat no more and ordered a to-go-box and put the left overs in it for Sadie.
He stood up to go pay for the food. He walked back and left a three dollar tip and grabbed his box. But before he left he stopped at her table. "I couldn't help but notice you walked in...my name is Jason." He said smiling and held out his hand to her. Wow, she was a gorgeous young lady. Her smell was still driving him absolutely nuts. If he didn't leave soon he would be showing that she was indeed driving him nuts. And he was sure that no one in here would like to see that...

& ` 5' somethin' cherry bomb , she had everythin' goin' on.
quietly sitting at her table, her blue eyes glancing over the menu. most of the food on it sounded interesting, yet nothing really popped out as 'try me i'm delicious!'. after careful consideration, erica had finally settled on ordering a chicken sandwhich with bacon, lettuce, mayo & a small slice of tomato on it with a salad on the side. while she sat in wait on her waitress, the young man that was sitting behind her had moved. turns out, he was leaving. she paid little attention. then before her waitress got over to her, the same guy had come over and introduced himself as jason. with his hand extended towards her, erica just smiled sweetly and put her gentle hand in his and gave a small shake, then let go. hs hands were rough to the touch, possibly from his career doing.. whatever. he had an 'odd' vibe to him. who knows why though.
after greeting the guy named jason, the waitress had finally got to her. she was quick to apologize for taking awhile, for she had quite a few tables to attend to. erica said it was fine, then smiled as she told her what she wanted to eat. with a quick nod, the young girl turned on her heels and hurried off. the young women just giggled quietly to herself than pulled out her phone and begun texting her old, old friends from the republic. the people she was texting were her best friends. the ones that would kill someone if erica needed them to. dominicans are crazy, and soon they would hopefully be coming over to visit in a while. who knows when, but they promised they would and erica couldn't wait.
after sending the text, erica placed her phone on the table and began to spin it, obviously out of boredom. before long, her food had arrived and it smelt wonderful. the aroma of chicken and bacon flowed towards her fast. she couldn't help but inhale deeply. once the food was placed on the table, the waitress again, hurried off, and erica began to dig into her salad. it wasn't very big, but it did not matter. it was still good. once that was finished, erica began to snack on the sandwhich. the bacon crunching, and the hot chicken being cooled down by all the other things that made up the food. so soon, just like the greens, the rest was gone too. erica breathed deeply before finishing off her drink, leaving a tip, and getting up to pay. the guy at the register looked like he just got out of school, and this was his starting job. it wasn't bad though.
bill paid, erica slowly walked back towards her car. its black body looking like a shadow in the night. her gentle fingers pressed the 'unlock' button on her car, and her small frame slid quickly inside. after a fumble with her keys, she found the car key and put it in the ignition. a quick turn, and the car purred to life. she reved the engine a few times before putting the car in drive, and racing out the lot. her tires squeeling like a guy driving a racecar. now, she was going to go home, feed her beloved pits, and go off to bed. tomorrow, she would head to the barn and work on some ground work, get the horses back into showmanship shape, not just riding shape.
