-- FULL NAME: Azaria Faith Montgomery
-- NICKNAMES: Ria
-- AGE: Twenty-two
-- BIRTH PLACE: Lexington, Kentucky
-- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
-- OCCUPATION: Horse trainer by day and bartender by night
-- PLAYED BY: Carrie Underwood-- PERSONALITY
Having been raised by a man and having more male friends than females, Azaria is most definitely a tomboy. She can hold her own and punch harder than most. Being highly independent, she infrequently asks others for help when she needs it the most, and will look to herself to figure out the situation. She is stubborn so it will take at least a couple of weeks before she admits that she needs to reach out and ask someone to aid her. Azaria is opinionated and will voice it if the situation calls for it. Suppress her opinion or view on a topic and you have just created a worst case scenario.
Ria has a good amount of confidence and self-esteem; however, this is not to be confused that she’s egotistical. She won’t vainly stare at herself in the mirror every second of her life, and doesn’t care much for her appearance and what other people think. If they don’t like her, that’s more than fine by her. One will quickly see that Ria has a fiery, feisty, and sassy attitude. Some are drawn towards this and others are taken aback. She’s a whole lot of woman in one small package. Ria is definitely a bubbly and out-going person who loves to flirt. She loves socializing and meeting new people, and sometimes can be a little too open about her life. Her upbeat ways always makes her have a smile on her face or she’s laughing about something. She’s got a great outlook on life and an even greater sense of humor.
Azaria is unpredictable which always ensures some type of thrilling adventure. She likes to go against what people say just to see why she shouldn’t do it. She tests boundaries and limits, and with her dare-devil and the thrill that adrenaline rushes give her – she’s willing to try anything once or maybe twice. Ria is fairly easy-going and laid back so making friends with her seems slightly on the uncomplicated side; however, gaining her trust may or may not be a hardship. She seems to trusts males more than females because she’s been stabbed countless times in the back more so by girls than men. Gaining her trust and becoming friends with her will ensure someone to be there through it all, as well as loyalty, and her guarding your back.
-- LOVES: Animals, being outside, alcohol, laughing, country music, trucks, mudding, teasing people, meeting new people, and having a good time.
-- HATES: Judgmental people, depressed people, rap music, being told she can’t do something, having her opinion ignored, snobs, rich people, going slow, being bored, and limitations.
-- HISTORY
Azaria truly never had a rough life. She grew up with her father who trained Thoroughbreds for a living. Her mother was a blurry image in her mind because she left her father for a rich man to ensure she would gain material possessions. Due to her dad’s job, he was unable to provide the fancy items she wanted and thus, she left him for someone who would. She left the family when Azaria was four but she had always been a daddy’s girl. She was his second shadow and constantly watched him train thoroughbreds. It appealed to her more so than the dance, piano, and guitar lessons he was providing her. She was in awe with the animals and her father noticed. When Azaria turned seven she was given her first pony named Bales. Azaria adored him to no end and often imitated what her dad with the Thoroughbreds with the bomb-proof pony.
Azaria excelled in riding and blossomed before him. It was soon that she outgrew Bales and her father gave Azaria her first horse at fourteen. Minnie was a somewhat older mare but she was cautious and respectful. Just what her father needed to make sure that his young daughter wouldn’t get injured by younger horses. Azaria was jumping higher and competing in the ring. In the saddle was where she was the most comfortable. With Minnie, her confidence soared and despite the bruises and the occasional breaking of bones, Azaria was proving that she would endure through it all. She had a passion for riding and it showed. Minnie soon passed when Azaria was roughly nineteen. She was heart-broken and her father soon allowed her to help train the Thoroughbreds. Azaria struggled a little before it become like a sixth sense. Her father often entrusted her to do certain things with them when he did his errands. Soon enough, she was exercising Thoroughbreds to occupy her time and to get more experience in the saddle.
When Azaria turned twenty-one she bought her own Thoroughbred with hopes to follow in her father’s footsteps and it wasn’t before long her father had gotten attached to him. Before she left, she gave the Thoroughbred as a gift to her father. She then decided to move away from her father and come here, knowing that she would not have the ability to go see him as he lived in Kentucky. Now horse-less, she wanted a horse or rather horses to occupy her time. The day before her twenty-second birthday, she bought herself a Quarter Horse gelding and a warmblood mare. She wanted a challenge and now she’s certainly got one.

”Easy, girl. You’re alright.”
Soft words escaped from her vocal box, entering the air. Her voice was gentle and calm, watching with brown eyes as the mare halted her shrieks of confusion. The whites of her eyes predominate as she scanned far and wide for the foal that was running about in the pasture. The mare settled, eyes slowly losing their fear and focusing on the coaxing words of the petite female beside her. The blond smiled gently, noticing the anxiety slowly being released from her body. She was a gorgeous mare who loomed over her five foot and five inch frame but to think that intimidated the handler was beyond ridiculous. She had grown up on a Thoroughbred farm, dealing with the temperamental horses’ day in and day out. She had experienced worse outbreaks than this mare had done, which was just rearing fits. She had gotten kicked and trampled multiple times with those horses but had finally learned to control those hot headed horses her father used to work with. This was just another one of them but on a lesser scale in the twenty-three year olds mind.
The mare’s head turned back over her shoulder, nickering frantically for her foal to approach and soon the little bugger did. With a smile, the tanned skin girl looked up at her with a sigh. ”You see? You get all worked up for nothin’.” Thick accented words spilled from her mouth as she spoke again, clearly not around these parts as she was originally from Kentucky. It held a southern charm to it, almost nice to hear. She gave the mare a pat, clicking her tongue and bringing her away from her pasture mates to return inside. She was notified of the changes, told that this mare was going out for half the day for one particular reason, she was easier to catch. She passed by stable hands and other workers with ease, greeting them by name and an inviting smile. Azaria turned her head casually to the side to see the male Australian Cattle Dog panting in the sun’s rays. His ears pricked forwards with expectancy, tail wagging softly. She smiled, observing her five year old dog, Rodeo who waited for her signal. She gave a nod and quickly the red colored dog was onto his paws and jogging lightly behind her.
The mare continued through the vast expanse of land until finally they all reached the barn. Azaria had been working for a long time and with a quick glance to the nearest clock, she had been here for about two or three hours. The echo of the stall door opening and closing gave Azaria a reprieve from the demanding day she had just encountered. She had been called in early as there was a lack of stable hands to clean stalls, so she willingly helped out. Before turn out even started she took out one of the owner’s quads and checked the fences for both the cattle and the horses. Inspecting no damage, she reported back to her coworkers with the good news and went about her day. She made sure she touched the foals, fondled their hooves and got them used to lifting them up and get used to her hands on their bodies. It would make for easier handling for farriers and vets and everyone else who came into contact with them. Some were still resisting but Azaria was content they would be getting used to her eventually. Other than that, it was a pretty busy day for her which she couldn’t really complain. She double checked the stalls and once having spied nothing out of place or different, she was given some down time.
Sienna eyes glanced back over towards Rodeo as he wagged his tail, whining as he sat loyally by her side. Azaria stroked the top of his head and stepped forward in her black boots. The dog whimpered before leaping up and running out of the barn with Azaria behind him. She laughed, knowing she looked completely ridiculous but this was her down time. It was her turn to enjoy herself but even then, this was a normal sight to see on the days she was working. Rodeo accompanied her daily as he was a particularly well behaved dog who could wander around but chose not to. He would lie down outside of any stall she would be working through or being perched comfortably on the quad as Azaria made her rounds. Even in the rain and snow, Rodeo endured it all. She was grateful for the dog but as she ran through the greenery she slowed her pace until she reached her gelding’s pasture.
The flaming red roan gelding trotted around, playing with his fellow pasture mates until he recognized her from the distance. With a gleeful squeal, he charged the fence and Rodeo barked at the familiar horse with ease. Pride lowered his head, sniffing the dog before snorting in its face. Azaria laughed, shaking her head as she stroked the red roan Quarter Horse. He nickered as Azaria reached for his lead rope and with ease; she clipped it onto his halter and opened the gate. Rodeo minded his distance and settled outside of the grooming stall Azaria chose to use. With an extensive grooming, Azaria grabbed Pride’s well-used bridle and led him towards the outdoor arena. In the distance she faintly spotted two figures working and announced herself as she got closer to the gate. ”Do you mind if I join you,” she called over towards the man, her face shadowed by the brim of her hat. Pride stood quietly in place, dawned in his red roan glory and only fashionably flaunting a bridle. It was one of those days that Azaria just wanted to go bareback, and hopefully this fellow was willing to share.
