Growing up in the shadow of her three older brothers was hard on Brielle. Her parents were always so proud of her brothers, as they were very athletic and popular and she began to struggle early on in school. Her grades weren't as good as her brother's, even when she was younger they still managed to show her up. During their years of high school, they were all on the football team and always managed to win tons of awards, making her parents even prouder. Brielle didn't feel very wanted during this time and when she got into high school, she began to try her best.
She started asking her parents to compete in horse shows, something her father happened to train riders for. Her mother, a lawyer and ex-Olympic rider, thought it was a great idea and Brielle started to train hard for horse shows. She, who had been riding since she was a little girl, had lost her entire first year of competing, something that made her doubt herself considerably.
She gave up competing for a year after all her losses, trying to focus on her school work more. Brielle's grades were slipping and her happy composure was beginning to slip as well as the idea of being nothing more than a nobody began to sink in. Soon, she had begun to talk to her friends less and less and her parents noticed that she was skinnier than normal.
One day, they asked her about her weight and she quickly denied their thoughts of her having an eating disorder, even if it was true. She had thought that she could fake her eating long enough that they wouldn't notice, but she obviously couldn't. Her parents kept trying to catch her in the act of not eating, but she ate around them. She kept up the act of eating and then purging for two whole years, worrying her family to no end.
Once her senior year came around, she tried competing again and was successful at her first five competitions, coming in first or second. She thought this was the work of her eating disorder and thus, she kept at it. She fainted one day in the middle of a competition, however, and she was rushed to the hospital. There, the doctors informed her parents about her disorder and that it was why she fainted.
After that, Brielle was babied by her whole family, her three brothers included. They were all terribly worried and decided it would be beneficial to Bri if they moved to get her away from everything. She finished high school and they were off, moving to West Virginia to help her focus on her competitions.
Since they moved Brielle has been doing better and while she is still struggling to defeat her eating disorder, she is confident that she can do it.

She stretched her arms as she yawned, blinking her bright green eyes almost a bit lazily. The morning sun had managed to cast bright rays through the curtains covering her open window and the light they emitted happened to have woken her up. The cars whizzing by her luxurious apartment also contributed to her early awakening, but she didn't mind being up an hour or two earlier than normal. The blonde slipped out of her bed and pulled the black hair-tie from her hair, the messy bun now falling into silky waves as she moved to the bathroom.
Thirty minutes later, she was showered and clean, stepping from the now steamy bathroom to rummage through her closet for some clothes. She managed to locate a clean pair of jeans, a white polo shirt, and a paisley-like scarf. Locking herself in the bathroom, the blonde began to change before quickly getting to work on her appearance.
The girl emerged a short while later and ran her fingers through her wavy blonde hair, green eyes scanning her bedroom for any sign of her worn leather jacket. Her eyes settled on the brown jacket, settled nicely on the back of the chair to her messy desk, and she reached over to grab it. She slipped her feet into a pair of black ballet flats, slung her matching leather purse over her shoulder, and grabbed her car keys before heading for the door, shutting the lights off with the flick of her manicured fingers.
As she shut the front door behind her, she turned to make sure it was locked before crossing the two car garage to her red mini cooper, jingling her keys as she went. The girl grinned as she pulled the door open and slid into the leather seat behind the wheel of her coveted car. She slid the key into the ignition and turned it, the engine roaring to life with a satisfying purr. "Time to run some errands," She mumbled to herself as the garage door lifted up automatically and she pressed her foot to the gas pedal.
The car drove easily down the long driveway as the driver, with her aviators on, glanced at the horses in the pastures. They were munching away at grass, some stretching their long legs enough to canter throughout the large pastures located on both sides of the girl's driveway. She lived at a small stable, the only one in the suburban town she lived in. Her parents were the proud owners of her lovely home and they had given it to her so long as she taught horseback riding lessons and tended to the horses. She had happily complied with the requests and had walked away from her parents house as the proud new owner of a stable and multiple horses.
Strumming her fingers against the steering wheel, Jolie Roux hummed to the current song on the radio while reaching one hand up to press the button for her convertible top to go down. The song, We Found Love by Rihanna, proceeded to blast through her speakers until she pulled onto the neighboring street, making her steady way to the nearby mall.
An hour passed and the blonde was now on her way to her next destination, multiple shopping bags in the backseat of her car. She was glancing around the for nearest tack shop when the town's Starbucks caught her eye. She quickly turned in and some curious heads turned to see the source of the blaring music. Their eyes fell on the blonde, hair flying around as she belted out the last words to Starships by Nicki Minaj before cutting the engine and stepping out of her car, keys in hand.
Jolie strolled up to the front doors of the Starbucks and tugged on the handles, entering before holding the door for someone with their hands full of coffee. The person gave a rushed thank you before rushing off to their car, Jolie's nice gesture then forgotten. She merely shrugged it off and headed over to stand in line, silently thinking over her order in her head as the line moved slowly. Once the person in front of her placed their order and moved to the side to wait, the barista turned her attention to the blonde bombshell and smiled kindly. "Hi, welcome to Starbucks! What can I get you?" The girl's accent was clear by the way she talked, a sweet southern accent matching that of Jolie's, only lacking the hint of French laced in. "Could I have a cinnamon dolce frappuccino and a cake pop?" The blonde asked, her own unique voice drifting from her lips. The barista nodded and entered her order into the cash register before speaking once more. "Coming right up. That'll be $5.37, please." Jolie pulled her wallet out of her purse and handed over six singles to the barista, watching as she put the money away and counted up her change before handing over both the cents and her receipt.
The blonde then stepped out of the line, moving closer to the waiting counter where her frappuccino and cake pop were placed before her in a few minutes. After receiving her order, she glanced around the coffee place and moved closer to a seat by a window, placing her stuff on the table and pulling a magazine out of her purse. She took a sip at her frappuccino as she flipped through the glossy pages of the latest Glamour magazine, completely absorbed in what she was reading.
